And, I think you're being too hard on yourself for those stone rains and ice storms. People play Mind Twist and Hymn all the time and don't apologize for it. Just play those strip mines like they're part of the game

Those islands are from an uncut sheet. I won an uncut sheet of Arena cards once during the Mirage or Visions Arena league at my LGS. The prize was to the person who played the most games that season. I got it shipped to me rolled up in like a poster tube after the season ended.

Hooray, the people of Shandalar rejoice! I also think I have a forgotten combo you haven't covered on your channel yet (fun fact: I used that in my very first magic tournament back in '94). *Clears throat and adopts his best Shandalar card trader voice* If you combine this Consecrate Land with the Mishra's Factory you already own, you can create the only indestructible creature that exists in Old School Magic!

Yes, Swedish rules is without mana burn. Atlantic and EC is with. You can read more about the rules in the shownotes.

@mikematij2 su-chi is easy to deal with and is not a big deal in swedish. In a lot of cases players play a Divine Offering on it at instant speed and gain 4 life. I personally enjoy copying and stealing it. I find trike much stronger, but each player has his/her own fav rule set ofc.

Sharknado you say? build the deck with Flight to give it flying, then Phantasmal Terrain to ensure the opponent has at least one island, with 8 enchantments you could run Veduran Enchantresses for a budget draw engine... Only in Old School could you seriously consider such a convoluted meme deck.

ca. 37:50 --> With regrowth you have to announce the target when you put it on the stack, no? And then the opponent can decide whether to counter it or not with that information. Not sure, why he's checking the graveyard so frantically. You don't get to choose the target after it resolves.
