Originally planned as a COMBO video, instead, we concentrate on this Gottlieb System 3 horror themed classic made in mid 90's. See all the neat feature, plus a look at what's coming next week at our busy shop! Also see our video on repairing the Freddy Claw right here! • #339 Gottlieb NIGHTMAR...

I remember when I was 11 in the summer of 2000 at the beach, the hotel gameroom had this pinball machine, I spent more time on this machine than I did on the beach that trip. I went back to that hotel in 2007 to see if it was still there, and there it was and my old high score was still there!

Hi Todd :) my family and I hope your big toe gets better soon!! My wife Kathleen recommends that you put your foot in warm water because when I injured my hand at Christmas it really helped. Great video on the nightmare on elm street pinball, those films freaked me out when I was younger, my brother showed me the first film on VHS back in the early 80's. And thanks again for the mention on your show :) we hope that you guys enjoyed the Bewleys coffee we sent over :) Anyway you and your guys did a great job on that pinball machine " Well done guy's!!" I know that this comment isn't really relevant to your video but we hope you and your family enjoyed your film festival and we look forward to your next video :) Also we would like to say a big HELLO!! to Wallace because he is very quiet and we love his work:) Keep em coming Mr Tuckey :)

Yeah for a quarter in today's times, that's a bargain. Yeah it is amazing what people do to these machines, BUT nothing beats that standard generic light bulb fixture with pull chain in that one pinball machine you showed, I'll never forget that one 😳

Hi Todd! Love all your informative and humorous videos on pinball (especially when you interact with your wife! lol). I'm in the process of restoring a badly damaged Freddy playfield and was wondering if you would know where I could get replacements for the Boiler and House plastic pieces. I tried the Pinball Resource but no luck.
@tntamusements

Richard B Sadly, I think Pinball Resource was the only source for those parts now. Try Steve at Pinball Salvage in Florida...he MAY have parts...google him. Todd

TNT Amusements Inc it was a top down shooter from Data East which was loosely based on the cartoon (while the Japanese version was an adaptation of an anime series known as Mekyiuu Hunter G, otherwise known as Treasure Hunter G)

Hey todd am sure I missed it in one of your videos with so much information you throw out but what exactly is an endostroke switch ?
@tntamusements
@tntamusements 10 жыл бұрын
dvddmc ALl pinball machines up to about 1989 used this End Of Stroke switch to shut off the high voltage to the coil, leaving the 2nd lightweight winding hold the coil up. If it fails, the coil burns up from overheating. In 1989, Data East and Williams/Bally experimented and then implemented a "Solid State" flipper...that changed this switches operation. It always seems this switch is skipped by people overhauling their game because (the old switch works fine)!

Ahh I see. Thank you for the information I know you mention changing it all the time in the vids but never really knew what it did.
