#94 🚲 Akrapovic Exhaust Installation on KTM Duke (Cheap Fake Akrapovic Chinese)

Installing my Chinese upgraded (akrapovic) exhaust...
on a
KTM Duke 125 or 200 and 390 or RC
I bought this very cheap fake Akrapovic Exhaust, around 80 euro's, wich is about 90 dollars ... instead of near a thousand for a real one.
It makes no difference in speed or pullup.
My cousin has a real Devil for a ten fold of the money and I don't see a real difference, I feel even I pulling a bit harder ... he is driving a little faster, but he has his computer updated, so ... I don't know ...
The sound is preference, mine is a bit higher in tone and louder, but you can get another silencer and test with it ... for not allot of money.
And loud pipes save lifes ;)

I would recommend maybe a pre-silencer, because it's a bit to loud ... This could be fitted between the back wheel and the engine in between the down pipe.
Get some money back from all your purchases on almost all big shops, including Aliexpress, where this is coming from!
It doesn't cost you anything or even the seller it is straight from Aliexpress's pocket, so no disadvantages for yourself, it just helps me a very small amount ;)

Hector Cazorla think it will work upto the "downpipe". That is gonna be bigger then this 125. It's the pipe connected directly to the cylinder...

Then you will have to undo the front pipe part on your cylinder to make more wiggle room.

You need to build the exhaust and present the bracket, to measure the hole, it's not to hard, you'll see!

Nerdiasme lucky you! In Spain we have to go have it checked 4 years upon registration, and then every two. They check everything, and so do cops, non-homologated are a sure bet on fines at some point :(

That's really bad, also police not really into stopping bikes that make to much noise, we have lots of open pipes on Harley's driving around here, with apparently not much of a problem. I live next to a pub of a gang of bikers and they all drive open woven pipes for years. Open pipes save lives :))

Recommend, I don't know, it's all the same for a 125/200, my mate has the Devil, cost 10x the price and is exact the same, sound is all what is important, and it's not to bad. For the price I do recommend yes.
