This is a great one for ripping through anything and small jumps . I seen one of these balisong through some snow like nobody’s business . I got a deal on a Kraton 6s bnib and didn’t even know it was popular .

Wow that whole rig runs hot, very hot. "They" say anything over 185 on the motor is damage inducing and 120 on the battery is bad news also.. I have smoked two motors due to heat. One in a Kraton 8s and 1 in my Mojave. After that I bought cooling to keep the temps below the ranges I have specified and never had anymore issues. Just FYI maybe this info helps I dunno. Thanks for the vid, always enjoy seeing how others do things. It's how we learn.

How much shock oil is needed in one shock? about to buy some shock oil, trying to figure out how many bottles I need.
@ucrazy2rc4603 жыл бұрын
Hi , 1 bottle ( 2 oz. ) should do 4 shocks , get 2 bottles just to be safe , Check video #94 if unsure how to fill

I thought when you put new oil you aren't supposed to be able to push it in all the way and it should come out by itself
@ucrazy2rc4602 жыл бұрын
If you can't push in all the way then too much oil and will blow off shock cap or seals , the bladder in the cap is what will push shock back out
@rc_trucker51302 жыл бұрын

This is more of an oil change than a rebuild. You didn't touch the gaskets or the O rings etc. Rebuild = total tear apart, clean and rebuild - hence, reBUILD.

running pretty hot, you should change the bearings!
@basementracer2 жыл бұрын
Or the diffs are binding, or the diff oil is turned to stiff goop. I would check the diffs before I spent money on bearings, that said bearings are easy to check. If you think the heat is coming from stressed members then bearings are usually the last stop in my 30 years of RC cars. You could always turn down the punch, punch settings cause massive heat in the ESC and Motor due to the amperage it allows. Default on the Mojambo is 4 for punch, I bet if it's set to 3 you see no diff in performance but you WILL see a difference in heat production. Tried/tested/proven. I geared my Mojave up and reduced punch for heat reasons, also kinder to the battery as less immediate amperage draw. That whole rig above is a heat mess.

I think it was more of just staying wide open all the time , there was another 5 or 8 minutes of run time that was not even in the video and that's what overheated everything , and I found out about the cheap bearings and lack of diff fluid
