I dig the leaf spring dedication! I almost always try to run them on my fronts... easy and works just enough for what i need!

3 or 4 link kits are SO expensive, just not worth it for me right now.

I had the same problem with my driveline as well, there’s 3 or 4 ways to handle the issue, but the best one is to strip the housing and cut the pivot balls off and rotated them about 8 degrees, then your pinion will point up. You just have to make sure your caster angle is correct when you weld the leaf spring pads back on or it will have death wobble

How are you liking the ride with leaf springs all around? the 4 runner is looking very good!
@aprecision40134 жыл бұрын
It handles like a beach ball since I don't have sway bars on it. The front springs are very soft for rock crawling. The rears are just stock chevy half ton springs. I did it for the articulation not the ride quality though. The stock suspension on these things do not have very much travel at all.

APrecision how much wheel travel are you getting front and rear?
@aprecision40134 жыл бұрын
@@gamer78full I have 3" of up travel and 7" of down in the front. I have 5" up travel and 6" down travel in the back

APrecision nice. I’m planning to build a sas rig and I’m just gathering as much info as I can. You’re running stock birfields with 35s and locker?
