It's the contracts of the Warriors that are aging them out of competing not their play. They paid 160 mil to four players last year, and couldn't fill a roster. I don't think the 2016 version of the splash brothers would win a championship with last year's roster. They need more money for free agents. Klay is a 15 to 20 mil player based on the last three seasons realistically.

@@Nitabita_ Klay wants to get paid based on past performance. Doesn't work that way any more. I was ready to move on from Dray also. But if we are committed to trying to win one more, Dray is the better piece to keep and is more important for what he does. Klay has to check his fragile ego and understand he's a 6th man on this team now if he wants to stay. His ego won't let him. The Dubs offered him 24 mil a year and he said no. He wants 3 years...despite a steady decline since his back to back career threatening injuries. So...despite his obvious decline, you think they should bank on him being that guy again for Steph for three more seasons? It's absurd. 2 yrs, 30 mil, plus team option for 3rd year at $20 mil but with a $10 mil buyout in case it isn't picked up. It at least gives him a little more when the team obviously declines the third year option. Or he can go chase a big bag elsewhere.
