Can Dubs Acquire Paul George AND Keep Jonathan Kuminga?

That is the one who piss me off the most when people start saying Podz is off the table. I will take Moody, Garuba, TJD over Podz because these 3 are or could be specialist in one domain. Podz I cant see where his speciality will be.

See, the thing with a Paul George trade is it could also include a bunch of picks if we don't want to give up the young guys. Like, if Kuminga is the focal point, you'd have to gut the entire bench to get PG cause Kuminga is on a rookie deal. But a package of chris Paul and Andrew Wiggins is almost perfectly in line with the money Paul George would be owed. If I'm the warriors, I'm trying to pitch packages centered more around picks than players. And I feel like everyone is forgetting about the fact that Paul George could straight up decline the opt in and become a free agent straight up. If THAT happens, we don't have to negotiate with the clippers at all, and all we'd have to do is move whatever players are needed to open up the money to sign PG.

Sadly I think klay is leaving and it’s not that they haven’t offered him anything but it’s not what he wants. Klay can do no wrong but hopefully he goes eastern conference if anything

I think Kuminga is already a better basketball player than Andrew Wiggins at this point. He's more efficient, he's better at pressuring the rim, and he has been infinitely more reliable in the last two years in terms of availability. We don't even know if Andrew Wiggins is going to be present for all 82 next year. He's taken a non injury leave of absence both of the last two years when we really needed him. I think Wiggins is a player that is trending downward. He's not a consistent shot creator anymore, his three has fallen off, and he is way too inconsistent on finishing at the rim. I mean, I felt like Wiggins missed at least one of two layups a game that he probably could've just dunked. Jonathan Kuminga was more productive in fewer minutes than Andrew Wiggins THIS YEAR. Like, significantly better. Andrew was fantastic in 2022, but he hasn't been that guy in two years. I just don't understand what people have seen from Andrew Wiggins post 2022 that makes them think he's more important and more impactful than Jonathan Kuminga

That was an excellent deal for the Pelicans and lines up with what they need! Their backcourt is Murray and McCullom now, both combo guards similar to Holiday/White with the Celtics. The Pelicans got better.
