Honestly for $70 I’d just leave it how it is even thought it won’t look 100% but I love the install and when I get my c5 this is the first thing I’m doing to it. Keep up the good work!

Looks good! Man, miss the days of the simpler interiors that you could take apart easily and upgrade. Now interiors have 50 screens across the dash with the radio integrated in everything. lol

They make Bluetooth ones. I would if it wasn’t so ugly, it’s such a pain having to control it with the radio. My truck has steering wheel controls and it’s soooo much better

Did you have to adjust the gain on the Axxess harness at all? My C5 came with the Bose system and I have way less bass after installing a new unit with the harness than with the factory unit. I made sure the blue/white wires were connected but I haven't touch the output adjustment on the harness yet.

While you’re sitting in the car after coming back from a cruise does the radio stay on for a couple seconds or minutes after you shut the car off and remove the key? I tend to sit in the car for a few minutes after getting home to either let the song I was hearing finish, Or just to relax and catch a breather.

Yes stays on for 10 mins or until you open the door just like stock.

I have a different interface, but similar so I’m hoping I can still just hook my red accessory wire on the interface right to the red radio power wire and not have to go down into the kick board like it says. Definitely going to try it bc why not. Good video though it helped alot!
