If you know Corvette you don't upgrade headlights led without hyperflash module otherwise it won't work properly.

The reason your car runs hot is because of the air splitter. You cannot modify the air flow under the front end in any way.

Thanks for your c5 content! I bought a 98’ and love it! All stock but very respectable. Same color as yours. Sooo many guys want to race. There must be some serious bragging rights when beating a corvette! I haven’t raced. I did open her up on a back highway and got a ticket. So my first mod needs to be the radar detector! I put a double din Kenwood in mine and it is a really nice upgrade. I resisted for a long time because i didnt want to mess with all the OEM stuff and cause problems. I had a professional install it with front and rear cameras. No regrets, its a better car to drive now. The Metra console piece is really nice. I wish all the plastic in the cosole and dash was made of that material.

Hi, love the channel and all the mods you’ve done. My ride is an ‘02 convertible. I’ve done safety and update type mods - upgraded all lights in/out, double DIN head unit, new Pilots all round, other small convenience items. Love the look of your wheels and am in the process of buying a set. I believe you used an inch and a half spacer on the rears - can you please confirm that for me. Thanks!

You got my sub cause this is the 4th or 5th video and you’re a real dude being real about owning a c5 and getting that affiliate hustle going. Real question as a new c5 owner. I have two strange covers. One leather one cloth that were in the trunk. Could one be a cover for the targa. Essentially can you make a video about a headliner cause I only found 1 video on KZbin and it’s about an aftermarket product that isn’t these questionable cover things I found.

My 03 came with no fobs at all. I tried some from eBay. No dice. So I actually found OEM "1" and "2" labeled fobs and used the fronts and buttons from the fobs that didn't work to refresh the stock versions.

I bought my oil and oil filters on Walmart online. Fortunately both my wifes Frontier and my z06 use the same oil which is awesome so I buy (3) 5qrts for 82 dollars shipped. It was significantly cheaper than Amazon. Actually I have figured out that Amazon can be far from the best deal sometimes.

That radar detector on the windshield is a ticket for obstruction to vision. It’s also a violation in some states like Virginia. It needs stealth.

the Kenwood excellon has more watts, more pre Amp volts, and more features. slight edge over pioneer but pioneer isn't bad

Concerning the radar detector, quite a few years ago I accelerated a bit too energetically going from a 25mph zone to a 35mph and got ticketed by the king of speeding in the small town I was leaving on my way to work. Speeding ticket $60.00, but added cost to my insurance $300.00 per year for three years, fifteen times the cost of ticket, Total cost $960.00. At the time, I was a forty something adult with a clean record. That solved my question why insurance companies gave radar to police department for free.

Hey for anyone who sees this comment I'm looking at some 6.5 shallow mount subwoofers from earthquake (i believe the model is SWS), would they be a good replacement from the old woofers (hence a replacement bracket for 6.5 speakers) or would an aftermarket subwoofer rattle the doors and windows. (C5 corvette 2002)

Sadly the double din console housing looks like crap because the grain pattern on it is poorly done compared to the other console pieces.. I have one and its still in the box because it looks so cheesy.
