Hey man that's an incredible set up on your cobra, I have a 97 in Pacific Green It's bone stock with 68,000 miles. I'm saving up to upgrade and turbo it. This is totally insane that's a huge turbo, Just wondering more about the set up if u have time to talk details. Really sweet man I was thinking about a procharger but after watching this I'm definitely gonna go turbo. Incredible build.

You know you're gonna have to build the bottom end or it will blow if you go forced induction

@@tjc97cobramustang not necessarily there have been people make above 400 whp on stock motors for a long time. If you are trying to push more than that you prob need to build it but its not just automatically gonna blow adding forced induction to a stock motor they aren't THAT fragile.

@@midnight347 To be fair not a lot of dudes are going to turbo route to gain 150hp, when they could make it a lot cheaper and easier to put a centrifugal blower on it instead to make that. Most guys doing turbos are wanting to at least get into the upper triple digits if not crest the 4 digit mark

You're gonna have to get forged internals. You can do it now or do it after it blows up because you're hard headed. I know 3 idiots who said the same thing you said and were warned but didn't listen. Now their cars have been sold for parts

Before I purchased the car from Eric he installed the 110 mm turbo and tuned it. Made 1180 to the wheels and ran 8.99 at 168

Well prepare for at least (at the very least) 25k if you want it to survive. Send your engine to MMR, replace the tranny with a T-56, have the rear end forged, buy a 76mm or 80mm turbo kit, upgrade the fuel system, might need a new engine management system, big meats in the back, I could go on. It's a very big undertaking. You could forge the engine and put a turbo on it but many things will break in no time.

That was a pretty decent sizes turbo I believe 1k at the wheels. One of the other guys that goes to the same shop as me has a 98 with a 76 that's at 900rwhp with boost to go further

Having a hard time believing that’s 1100hp when our blocks are 1k at best, intake and heads 700 ish. Your probably around the 700hp range.

Who told you the heads can't support past 700? When you have a big ass turbo on the car you just turn the boost up itll make however much power you wanna make to an extent but the ceiling damn sure isn't 700. B heads aren't as good as later heads but they're still deep breathing 4v cylinder heads. The block itself can take 1500+. This thing has a big ass turbo its more than capable of making 1100 wheel weather or not it is making that I dont know for sure.
