2V's are a great build choice. Simpler engineering = less parts/cost/time to build. And they're proven reliable in any conservative boost configuration with proper maintenance.

Actually the SN95/New Edge Mustangs are based on an improved Fox platform they dubbed Fox2 if I recall correctly. So there shouldn't be must less weight in a first gen Fox body.

There have been 10 second 2vs with 360 whp it's all in the suspension. Look at the steeda 18 or 19 gt. It just has a converter, full suspension, full exhaust cai tb and e85. The motor is still not opened.

@@karlhopkins713 yea these weigh like 3200 theyre 600 lbs lighter than a new gt that is pretty significant some people dont realize how much weight effects this stuff...you would need closer to 500 in a 3800 lbs newer stang which is what most of em have when they go 10s. Steedas is doing low 10z with around 500 due to some weight savings plus the et killing 10r80 it has. I mean killing as in very good not killing as in bad lol. This car could go deeper into the 10s with more suspension peices and some more weight reduction mods. I like this build because it shows people you can go 10s without having 700 whp.

We had a fox that went 10.97 with only 385 rwhp, and an SN95 that went 9.87 with 535 rwhp. You don't need huge power to go fast, just need a good setup. Love the channel. That Bullitt would be a riot wit a little better top end power.

Amen...that is exactly right the younger generation is fixated on big dyno numbers and act like if it isnt pushing 700-800 whp it isnt worth a damn but that isnt the case at all. Too many people with big power dyno queens that cant put the power down for shit vs people with more tame setups that can boogie down a track like nobodys business. I love the reactions people act like its unreal to hit 10z with just over 400 whp but people have been doing this for years people are just fixated on big dyno numbers and nothing else these days

Most importantly, you need TRACTION to go fast. The turbo gives you very manageable power that doesnt blow all the rubber off. I can barely find grip on my 4.6 NA setup it's got plenty of torque to get you there.

Truth is for what they can be had for (the engines and the new edge cars themselves) theyre pretty stout. If you wanna make more power all u need is forged rods and pistons which costs under 1500 bucks total for parts and you can really go fast then and make some damn good power. The Bullitt and all the New Edge Mustangs will have the "edge" - pardon the pun - over the new body style because of the weight differences... That's the main reason you have so many notchback foxes getting chopped and used for dragsters - I wish I could find a stock one to just put bolt ons for the 302 with the T5 transmission and have fun with... But they are flying up in price because they are so lightweight and they are just simply fantastic for track use.

I have one on a 3v and not gonna lie you gonna have to buy alot of little parts that add up . Because on3 has some shitty parts. Hoses , clamps , fitting , oil relocation, boost controller, wastegate forsure , and some other little things . But it adds up

Yep and it's probably a little worse at 1/4 of a tank because of tires on back or up a bit in the nose is pointing down so when you have a 1/4 of tank is probably less so it's going to starter cuz that ass is up a bit

The issue is heat ,,, the 4.6l gets hot very very fast mmmmmmmm .... I have nothing but a 75mm intake .. headers and you run it a little hard gets hot super fast without a turbo .. put a coyote in it used motors under 2k .. 400 hp stock no stress

Just watched video and I see there are a lot of 1320 guys watching. Put a Lentech auto in it and it should go mid 10's. I've gone 10.42 at 132 mph at 3500 lbs and 435 to the wheels and 9.50 at 140 mph with 575 hp. In case you're wondering 1320 guys are the ones who think you need 1000 hp to go 10's

Yea it has alot to do with the turbo too its got loads of torque and way less hp because its a smallish not very efficient turbo but it works enough to get into the 10s obviously. Much less weight than newer mustangs helps. I love how it shows you can go 10s without having a million hp everyone is so fixated on big dyno numbers these days they act like 400 aint nothing but in the right car on the right setup it can do pretty damn good.

Sorry my friend, I bet either its hurt now after that run or that dyno reading LOWWWWWWW. for comparison.... my friends EG hatch with 407whp ( on a dynapak...notoriously low reading dynos)... something that weighed 2150 with him in it....went 126-127mph every pass.. on a big slick and correct suspension setup with a quaif differential..track bars...etc etc....How much does that weigh? and u were loose in second... something is up.

From what I heard you can get these kind of numbers with no power adder if you take an early 4.6 non Pi short block up to 98 and then take a 99 and up Pi (Power Improved) heads and intake and bolting them on the non Pi shortblock and get right about 400 hp.any info on this?

@@karlhopkins713 2 generous.. I had a 02 Saleen. Car only had 30k miles on it so barely broke in. Did heads, stage 3 cams and intake and only seen 320 on a happy dyno. 350+ is a stretch with just basic bolt on's. Not saying it cant be done, but its going to take some work.

See ford makes less hp and still goes 10’s wow I bet those demons are salty lol esp knowing they use that fuel as well and 840hp to only go a lil faster lol at a 9.65 lol I bet u out that much hp in that stang and it will be doing 8’s maybe wow good job bro on your build
