Great videos and camera footage. I like how you show the angles right in there so we can see what your doing. Others just show an overview and can’t see the actual process. Thanks

Nice video. I do wish you did the passenger side mount also. The large bolt removal is kinda blocked by the alternator. I'm interested in the easiest way to get it out.

Thanks. I did the passenger side when I did the engine rebuild. I didn't realize the passenger motor mount was a problem. I realize now that this video would have been a good place to show that one as well. I ended up just replacing the bad side in this video. Thanks for your input!

Good job mate! Maybe the previous owner in a few months is going to try to buy your Jeep again...😁. See you next week.

My Jeep was lifted a couple inches, but it was halfway done. The fan shroud got ate up by the fan on the engine start up after the life install. It's gnawed up pretty good. Also, the catalytic converter makes contact with the skid plate on occasion and causes vibrations. Soooo...... the best fix is raised motor mounts by M.O.R.E. or maybe Brown Dog. The other option is to adjust the fan shroud and lower the skid plate an inch or so. I don't want to sacrifice the ground clearance so Just Empty Every Pocket with motor mount update.

Lower the fan shroud for body mount lift which sounds like what u have. The catalytic converter should not be affected by any lift. I be it is swaggering low from heat over time. It should have a mount connected to the transmission. Check that and see if it is connected. Hope this helps BrowninG77!

are you not worried about the motor falling down some? Do you have a brace under it?
@ForceBuilt2 жыл бұрын
I had a Jack under the oil pan with a board between the pan and the Jack(if memory serves me right lol)
