same exact jetski wouldn't get power, checked everything ended up replacing computer. now it starts but won't gas. any ideas?

It most likely needs a tps reset now that it is a different computer.

i have the same ski. picked it up cheap. i have no start, nothing. no beeps no click. has a fresh battery, checked the Dess post, S/S button, dess key with a multimeter. all check out. i can jump it from the solenoid and it will turn over, no spark. i thought it might be a bad MPEM but i don't get the blown 5amp fuse problem. i checked all grounds and power to the MPEM and they are good. could the MPEM still be bad? do know of any other parts i can check that would give me this problem? any help would be great thanks.

Check power at fuses. I only had 8.5 volts at the computer . That will tell you if the relay on the top of the cover is bad.

@@SeadooRefurb thanks for getting back to me. i cked for 12v at the MPEM plug and have good ground pin 1-17 black and 12v at 1-26 red-purple. checked fuse for 112v and all other grounds, all check out. i ordered a cheap MPEM from ebay. $120 (don't have to program key) any key will work. ill be the guineapig on this one lol i cant see buying an old one with key for $250 and having the same problem next year. or fixing mine for $400 i only paid $400 for the ski.

@@abhvgas Hmm..No beeps could be just bad teather. Do you have one from another machine ? Put that on and see if you get the 1 long beep.

Hey Seadoo Refurb, late comment, but I have the same exact issue. I replaced the fuses and every time I hit the starter, the fuse blows. Any advice? Thank you

See if you can roll the engine over by hand from the pto . If you can the jump the solenoid to apply power to the starter to see if the engine rolls over. Then you will know what is going on.

Hi , I’ve got a seadoo rxdi 2003 charged up a new battery it had 12.7 in it put it on the ski tried to start it and just about cranks over tested the battery and it had 12.1 in it ant ideas much appreciated 👍🏼

Check for spark, check compression..check for fuel. etc..

I have the same exact one, same color and all. I’ve changed the starter, solenoid, battery…. When I hit the start button in makes a weird noise like it wants to start, but doesn’t. Started last month, then just bam. Nothing.

Apply power to the starter to see if the engine turns over. (Or jump solenoid) I have seen battery cables go bad.

I bought one but I don't know what oil it uses, it's the same as yours.

Regular 2 stroke oil. (2 stroke oil generally does not work well when mixed with other brands so if you don't know what oil is in it then I recommend removing old oil)
