Thanks it worked for my 06 TITAN i have had it for 13 years and this is the first time i had it not go away on its own after pumping up a low tire, thanks!

Thank you for your comment. When it starts to stay on after filling a low tire, the batteries are on their way out. My batteries have been low since 2010 and I just installed new sensors today 12/18/2022. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGOwfZd5mNWVbpY

Thanks for these instructions. Worked great on my 2007 titan. I installed 4 new Schrader 28204 sensors a couple days ago. My TPMS light would blink for 30 seconds after I started the truck and then stay on permanently. This solution worked but I had to do the procedure 4 times before it 'took' and the TPMS light went off after learning. I only had to drive about a mile after the 4th procedure and the learning was complete and the light went off. The other three times, the learning mode blinking would turn to a solid, on all the time, light after 30 seconds. Just as if I never did the procedure at all.

What I noticed is that these vehicles are very sensitive to correct tire pressure. I always ran my tire pressure higher than the vehicle called for, but not with the Armada.

Worked great. It seems that the tire pressure is the key ingredient. Thanks for sharing.

What wires did you use to ground out the DVD player I would like to do that to my armada also

DVD player? This video is about the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. I just want to make sure I'm following what you're asking. Thanks.

@@97TRAKIN you have a green wire and you said that was for the parking brake for the DVD player to work while you drive
@97TRAKIN Жыл бұрын
@Drew my apologies for taking so long, I am just seeing this. I grounded the DVD player's parking wire to the truck's parking brake wire. The truck's parking brake wire is a ground wire.

Can't you just remove the fuse to the sensor module? My 2007 titan has always had the light on even after tire shop has redone the sensors. I just want to unplug it.

I just bought a nissan armada so thats not nun bad right ?
@97TRAKIN3 жыл бұрын
The Armada's drive train is STRONG. It's the incidentals (little things) that will nickel and dime you if you can't do your own repairs. I caution against the 2004-2008 model years. The 2009 and later models seem to have less (minor) issues. Nissan still seems to like that horrible exhaust manifold/primary catalytic converter design for some reason though 🤔.

I have tried this more times than I can count. Has never worked for me. Installed new OEM sensors, triple checked all pressures, Nothing. Had the truck to 2 seperate garages, and recently had new tires installed at a tire shop, None of them could get the sensors learned to the truck. I wish I could just rip this whole damn thing out.

Sucks that you're having issues. I agree with you though. It sucks that some people are so carefree with simple vehicle maintenance items that the government felt the need to intervene with things like TPMS.
@97TRAKIN4 жыл бұрын
What I have found is that people who are having issues, are usually running TOO HIGH a tire pressure. Good luck with it.

If that light bother you you can open it up and just take the little bulb out or pop it

I don't have factory size tires so mine just stays on
@97TRAKIN3 жыл бұрын
Yeah sadly if you run thinner tires that require more pressure or larger tires that require less pressure you may be outside of the range of the sensors.

@@97TRAKIN I just purchased new tires that take less pressure than the original ones, does it work for that ?

Mine doesn’t have that wire thing

It's sometimes taped up behind the kick panel. Unless someone removed it, it's there.

@@97TRAKIN so after the light went solid did you have to pump the tires to 36 psi right away? or is there some time limit to pump it?
