The harness adaptor you bought is conected to the the new stereo just by matching colors or do I have to look for specific wires regardless of the color?

Thank you for subscribing and watching the video we do appreciate it! I do not recall us connecting the parking brake wiring, although it is part of the kit if you want to connect it 👍 We never hooked up any steering wheel controls as the 98 Accord we installed this in does not have steering wheel controls. You may need to look up and buy a AXXES Axxess ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Interface as we've used this on other vehicles and it's mostly universal depending on how you wire it 👍👍

Is the '98 accord's radio antenna the "universal" jack that fits into most of these unit's radio input? The instruction on mine says I may need an adapter but you didn't mention the '98 accord needed one. Thank you!

Hi there just added the bracket, USB and connector to the Description for this video if you'd like to take a look thanks so much. I will note that if you call Crutchfied they will wire the radio to wiring connector for you for a fee and this will then be plug and play. Thanks for watching! We wired this into a keyed hot/positive wire and a ground so when the key turns on it provides power to the USB port to power the dashcam 👍

My 98 Accord has Pioneer 4 oHm speakers. Can those stay or would it be ridiculous? *They sounds damned fine w/ the radio. cassette factory piece.

We used the factory speakers and they sound great with the Jensen radio 😊
