Now then I've just finished putting the other two in yesterday, I surely will not have to do this again. Yes, those two in the middle that were bad on your's are the same that were bad on mine however I went ahead and replaced all four. I have yet to look at the front ones.

I've just done this myself during this week. On my '99 LeSabre I found that the ramps were in the way when I went to use the jack to press the rear bushing in so I ended-up taking the car off the ramps and raising it onto jack stands. When I do the driver side I will not put the car on ramps. I was able to loosen the stabilizer bar links completely, then lower the sub-frame enough to get the front bushing in and the back bushing was no problem at all. In getting the cup for the front bushing in I had to tap it a bit with a hammer for it to slide in between the sub-fame and the body, no big deal, no damage. I will be doing the two on the driver side next month.

You just saved me money having it towed when I only needed a $75 set of bushings. Very clear and concise, thank you!!

My 99 LeSabre started this mysterious wobble a year ago I replaced axles/bearings. Rack& tierods. I jacked it up today & the subframe bushings had tons of. Slop. Rust free car too.

THanks but... How about you just put the #'s here, instead of a link to something most of us don't have ?

Could you clarify how you dropped the subframe in your video? Did you remove the Drivers side brushing only? one in front and 2 in rear? Or did you need to remove all of the brushing to get them to drop? 4 in Rear only?

When you lowered and raised the subframe at 2:00, did you only loosen the 2 bushings on the driver side of the subframe (shown in your video) or did you loosen the passenger side too (ie 4 out of 6 bushings loose)?

I am just noticing tonight for the first time that the Bushings on my 98 Pontiac Bonneville are pulling through the subframe... By the looks of it, It looks like it is breaking the rusty subframe. The thing is though... the car is not all that rusty. Am I right or am I wrong?
