Happened to me some years ago. At least you have the equipment. I had to pay 200 dollars to have new chips and have them coded. My cousin had to pay 400 for his, such a pain just for some keys.

Thanks for sharing! Why are you suspecting the transceiver module over the PATs module, is there live data that shows the key not being read? There is a very inexpensive tool, a ring you put around the antenna, and an LED lights up to tell you if it's outputting a signal to reach the transponder chip. The key itself can also be bad. I had the transciever circuit fault and i found power and ground was good, as well as having 12v of signal line and transmiter wire, once i replaced the transciever with a known good used one the fault cleared, the key could not be programmed and the chip looked burnt (was able to remove it and look at it and it looked burnt, the fix was the transciever but i also needed 2 keys to program to the car and the car started.

Transceiver on ebay used, make sure you get same part numbers, keys the customer had but ebay keys should work on it
