@fastrecon1

The fact that he got that close is solely on the ineptness of the secret service, I have worked with them and state dept. DSS teams, and they are overrated. Yes they are somewhat professionals, but their capabilities are highly overrated. A tier 2 or 3 operator can easily overwhelm them to the point where they will be decimated, as a matter of fact a Marine infantryman will win; SS and DSS have become so reliant on technology as opposed to tradecraft and rudimentary skills.

I first saw Nicholas Irving on Demolition Ranch, who I thought was a random KZbinr until I saw a video of him breaking down some of his war footage. So, I definitely believe Irving is way beyond the Secret Service. I’m surprised he didn’t bring up Carlos Hathcock, who was the greatest marine sniper of his time. Hathcock endured the true terror and absolute horrors of the Vietnam War.

Great interview. Nick has always seemed like a standup guy anytime he has been on any podcast or channel I've watched. He is honest and straight forward for the most part with his answers. I have been listening to Paramount Tactical break down the failures and conspiracies that people bring up and that channel does a great job showing a lot of insight into the failures and how some conspiracies just aren't likely true but doesn't ever say there is no chance of this or that. He has even gone further and gotten 3D terrain data and shown the heights of everything and shows angles of the CS teams angle compared to Crooks and shows how Crooks had just basic training at a range recreationally since he did nothing that was that impressive.

I’m just a layman know nothing about sniping but I know a bit about guns, I suspected this too. The SS counter snipers are using 300 win mag meaning if very skilled sniper is using a 408 chey Tac or something with way more range and utilized modern camouflage or hiding tactics there’s very little chance they would be able to stop them. Common sense

Isnt this the guy that said a 50 bmg could kill you from the shockwave alone? 😂

This is a myth. That said, if you are hit from a 50 cal round from an M2 Machine Gun, even say in the arm you will turn to ground beef it has that much force. A direct hit to the chest causes you to explode into a fine pink mist. As was a turret gunner on a HUMVEE in Iraq.

Watch this guy try to sight in a rifle on youtube. It's like he was never behind the gun before.

@@sniper161718Yes, that video made lose all respect I had for him, I was asking if he really was a sniper at all. I am a sportshooter and I was like, what is that guy doing, took him like 10-20 shots what should have been 3-4 max.

@@JimmyArogen shooting off a bag at 300 yards for a zero? Not using a bipod? Spotter wasn't positioned properly? Wasn't using match ammo? Not using a rest bag for the rear buttstock? Me and my buddies who went through sniper school were slacked jawed

Why are Secret Service agents, those protecting a high official, not polygraphed on a regular basis, say once every six months? Also, why are the agents assigned to Butler not being polygraphed as well as their commanders?

Because polygraph tests are not accurate and can be beaten if trained for.
