@dbongoloid95412 жыл бұрын
This song isn't about cheating. Unfortunately this song is about falling out of love with someone you genuinely thought you were in love with. Sadly, sometimes. The only way to reasonably end a relationship like that is to cut all ties and don't turn back. It helps to get over something like that fast. That's why the video is him boxing, he's fighting the urge to stay to avoid the inevitable pain.
@robiapicca59672 жыл бұрын
@@dbongoloid9541 The song is about a guy who has a wife at home and a mistress on the side, and it's his struggle with breaking it off with his mistress even though he loves her more, mainly because he has somebody at home relying on him and he can't let them down.... so, it is 100% about a cheating asshole, but it's little bit deeper than that, as well..

There's some sort of poetic justice that a second-tier copycat candy pop boy band released a song that can hit so deep and differently depending on your stage in life. 18-year-old me thought the "protagonist" of the song was an a*hole. Mine is similar. I grew up with these twins. Normally most boys would want both but I was drawn to only one of them. I had to change schools because my grades were horrible. I ran into the one I was drawn to at a store. Normally I would get shy around her. This time I wasn’t. She talked switching to my new school. That’s when I said no stay. I care about her so passionately but I wanted her to succeed. I didn’t know she was pregnant. How if she had came to my new school we probably would’ve gotten together and I’d probably be daddy to her daughter. I still run into her occasionally. We can’t lock eyes cause we could see into each other’s souls.

Good times, back then songs had real meanings and you can relate to them. Now its all garbage and screaming around.

98 Degrees are the white version of Boyz II Men no doubt. The golden era of R & B the 1990s. The best ever!!!!! You can't make extraordinary emotional songs like this no more. Amazing music from a bygone era.

Fun Fact: 98 Degrees snuck backstage and sung for Boyz II Men. Thats how they got discovered and eventually was signed to Motown records. The only white artists at Motown during that time

Beautiful song but as we are both searching for our love to come back to each other this song is not what we need to think about but a new excitement to the love that is all consuming in our relationship. I know I cannot live without him and he is the most important thing in my life. God comes first then my man and he knows where he stands as we travel together to become one heart, one soul, and one mind and body. T
