It makes sense that dedicated hardware is faster than software defined hardware. Howerver, seeing the difference is quite sobering!

I2C is easy but slow. SPI requires more lines but faster. OLED will rot over time eventual dim and no longer work (die). TFT last for ever. Thanks for the Video

I confused. As long as I know, SCL and SDA belong to I²C. MOSI, MISO, BCLK and STROBE belong to SPI. I²C more popular than SPI. CMIIW

the display board is marked SDA and SCL but MISO and CLK from the arduino are wired to them.

IPS is SPI backwards. Those silly Chinese! It's cool though, gunna get me some, thanks!

in LCD displays there is a technology of in-plane switching which has a larger viewing angle, hence IPS

6:45 I never use those 6 pin headers, I just use the Reset, D11, D12 and D13 pins to program an Arduino bootloader.

that's super nice! a great quick display! & RGB!! what style of a custom ''aluminum plate'' were U looking 4? etched,satin anodize.rubber coating, electro-plate. electro-polished?? or just PCB stencil? 👍
