"That terrible day in September 2001 when two Jets took down Drew Bledsoe." That's roast gold.

Tom is literally the goat for being able to handle that. How did he sit there for 3 hours hearing all that. I was so uncomfortable for him 😂

Jeff Ross gave a lot of backstory on Rich Eisen's show today. Nothing was off limits. Brady reacting to the Kraft massage joke was a joke, he wasn't serious.

Not only does Nikki write his own material, she gets paid to write other people’s material. She’s GOATED at roast jokes. Her and the late Greg Giraldo to are the best roasters.

In BOTH Bill Belichick TV appearances this past couple of weeks; he unironically referred to somebody as their character name (Angry Mel Kiper and Ron Burgandy). I hope this trend continues, haha.

I was surprised with the stuff they were saying, especially about Giselle lol. They did a full roast big-time. That’s cool that’s what you expect. I’m just saying, I did not expect it to happen to Brady. I’m glad they did it though. That’s the way it should be.

Tom Brady knew what he was getting into. A roast is just that… an invitation to hear stuff from other people that you maybe didn’t want to hear. He also produced it. I thought Tom Brady was a good sport. I’m sure there were things said that some people didn’t want to hear… but Brady opened the door on this one. Now, if he would have asked that his ex wife was off the table, I think they would have a backed off… but again a roast is a roast. They did a good job. Some jokes didn’t land well, there were others that did an amazing job. Let’s move on.

This over the top reaction is what happens when society becomes super sensitive. There isn't anything to be shocked by, but when you are trained to be this sensitive, things seem worse than they actually are.

Ahhh, excuse me, could we step back just a step and observe? This was much of a whose who of retired NFL industry workers taking 3 hours worth of shots at the culture the NFL is pushing. Hello? Players being the actors, coaches writing the scripts of the NFL brand. Of whom clearly dislike the direction the NFL is headed. Count me as a fan who has the same view. Afterwords, Glasier goes on howard stern to mention some jokes she omitted such as: the NFL spends millions to silence the docters who know about the effects of CTE. In kind, brady asks where roger goodell is (not attending) and his remark towards 'it's all about the money, stupid' when mentioning give him the 20 million (NFL spent on deflategate) and he would have admitted his involvement (pay the damn actor). Brady left the pat's for more money because kraft wouldn't pay him. The look on Kraft's face when Brady told the joke was "oh, sh!t", the sound of a franchise losing value. Brady telling Ross he went too far on the joke about Brady offering Kraft a massage. I agree, Tom. Why put Brady in the middle of that blackmail scheme. That's krafts baggage, so keep it in that context.

Too long ...WAY TOO LONG !!!!! And, anyone with with two fingers and a keyboard can write bad taste. It takes a real writer to write bad taste that is clever with more than junior high school mentality. If you study the history of of roasts; you can easily see that Don Rickles was the anointed godfather of bad taste. He killed for a couple of generations. He handed the "no mercy/politically incorrect" baton to Jeff Ross. Mr. Ross should have been hired to write the jokes for the rest of the dais. The money spent on this 3 &1/2 hour complete train wreck could build libraries and hospitals across the nation. These guys (Felger, Mazz and Murray) are "shocked at what was permitted???? They must have been living under a rock for the past 40 years of roasts. These previously "forbidden" subjects have been main content for anything calling itself a roast for a long, long time. The only difference is the quality of the writing and the intelligence to edit the dead meat. Thanks to Niki Glaser for her valiant effort to save the night. I'll admit its more than challenging to write humor for humorless people. It would be like asking a comedian to play pro ball.
