So excited for you and your mold venture. I hope it takes off and makes you rich! Love blue and green combos, and these are gorgeous, as the always are.in my head, I call your leaf centers "leaf cookies".😆 Maybe, if you made your center cookies thicker, by gluing one on top of the other, or maybe making them in small thicker disc molds, you wouldn't have to worry so much about them getting buried. Also, to keep them from drifting, you could stick them each down ahead of time in the centers with a tiny amount of resin. Or you could use UV cure resin for that too. I recently ordered some molds to make flower centers, with the obvious only problem being that it limits the size of the flower you put around it. Perhaps someday I'll get ambitious and make my own molds! Thank you, Julie, for keeping us all so well entertained. I look forward to all your videos.

💙💚🤍I love those pillowy striations! It almost reminds me of a tumbled and polished stone effect. I've gotten it a few times with my pendants and I *think* it has to do with the amount or brand of mica I've used, but I can't be sure. I sure would love to buy that coaster mold! I also get that little voice you get when something is about to go wrong. I didn't listen to it a few times, and man was I sorry. Now I always listen. I'm glad you listen!🤍💚💙

The one that looks like a flower, you went center color around the imbed and then out with each color. That's why it's different. I like the tops of this coaster set more than the backs. The thing that I think was different is that you were pouring half of the color on the previous color and off the next color. I think that's what caused the puffiness.

I believe it was the white that you put in there that caused the different effects, it acted like the Vallejo pearl medium does when it is mixed with the white paint and used to pour the Fiona flower technique. The pearl medium expands or blows up. I actually had one of my paintings sort of ruined due to this happening as it made the petals on my flower not keep their original shape. They looked like fat misshaped petals the morning after I put the painting to dry. I am trying to figure out if it is due to using too much of it in the paint ratio. ANYWAY, your coasters still turned out lovely.
