Over the years I’ve found loads of power tools, appliances, vacuum cleaners, air conditioners, etc., etc., as well as all sorts of sizes and lengths of extension cords that were thrown away because the cord had a nick or somehow got cut. I’m happy to repair these items to sell or keep. 🙂

wish there were bins that dysons products in them near my house!!! Was watching Adam Savage testing a HEPA filter PPE hood earlier and when he mentioned something about dyson probably working on a fan for de-fogging I spat my coffee out. Can you imagine? It'd be like a £1,000 price-tag or more if dyson made it. Edit to add: thinking of dyson prices for hairdyers etc totally just reminded me of the Billy Connelly line ".......for a *fecking* carpet?!?!"

The black access panel you removed on the base gave you access to the two screws on the oscillating arm, just turn until they appear, unscrew and the base separates. No need to remove a circlip.

i cant find the infrared key codes for it so you could make a useful esp32 or pico plus infrared module for fun to control it but did find this for now. How do I use my Dyson AM09 without a remote? Control without the remote Press the standby button on the appliance to turn ON/OFF. Press and hold the standby button on the appliance to adjust the target temperature. The target temperature will increase to a maximum before decreasing. If the target temperature is set at 0°C it will switch from heating to cool mode.

......nice, you like the style, . I can see that style too. It would clash with steam punk perhaps .That style is complimented by electrostatic speakers and spherical armchairs hanging from the ceilings and ties in with modern flat panel TVs too . I guess a crass robot vacuum cleaner is permitted also . ..Not surprised at all the viable stuff what you find discarded in Britain. There was an article about it by a British PhD student in New Scientist at least two decades ago .

a lot of kit cars were somewhat like that... mechanical parts could be unbolted from a donor vehicle that was MOT failure over perhaps a rotted out body and uneconomical to repair the rust, and bolted onto a replacement fiberglass bodyshell.

Not sure if "repair" has the same meaning in the US vs England. It seems that you performed maintenance on it, but no repairs. Small difference, but since nothing was broken or damaged, nothing needed repairing. It just didn't work like it should. Like others have said, your confidence is way up. This was one of your best videos.
