I put new mirrors on my '99 F350 because my stock mirrors had on side broken. Who knows what happened there. I think I got some help breaking it in a parking lot or something. I didn't try to do the wiring yet, but this video is clear enough that I guess I'll get in there and make the new mirrors fully functional. Thanks for posting this great content!

The website can’t tell you whether or not for sure they will fit because they can only tell you if they were made for that vehicle from the factory

I wouldn’t know without having a set of the mirrors. But the power fold option would have to be ran to a type of toggle switch and it’s own relay. It’s a much different type of upgrade. It would be completely custom.

Hi, my 2001 limited doesn’t have turn signals on the stock mirrors. Is it possible to get the turn signals to work with the new mirrors like the ones you installed? I’m guessing they’re is going to have to be ALOT of wiring to do? Something I’m not at all qualified to do. Excellent video btw. Very well done

I know this is old , here is my question 07 F250 previous mirrors had heat running lights and turn signals , newer mirrors 08 style have same options pluse the turn signal led in the glass. Plugged everything in everything works except the LEDs in the glass they just stay lit up once it's dark enough for the lights to come on. Not sure how to get them to flash with the turn signals .

OK so the problem is you have your wire that goes to the turn signal inside the mirror wired to your parking lights instead of your turn signal lights so you need to check your wiring diagram and see which color wire goes to your turn signal, and then cut and add it to the Turn signal arrow wire. very easily corrected. @@hoyboygarage6763 in Iowa? That’s crazy, I’m in Ohio, and the woman I sold it to was moving to Wisconsin. Can’t imagine how it ended up there. And I sold it for $5000 when I got rid of it, it’s a very solid truck or atleast it was. It came from Texas so had almost no rust whatsoever. Only downfall is that it’s a 5.4 v8 and 2 wheel drive.. but if it’s still in good shape, then I can’t imagine it wouldn’t be worth around five grand still. I went over that truck top to bottom and fixed anything that needed done

Zero. The only harness it has is for the heated mirrors, and power mirrors. The turn signals weren’t an option on that year and model. You will have to wire it like I did.

@@thehowardsgarage2480 yes I was gonna wire signals into column. Not worried about heat part. I was wondering about the power mirror part. Cuz I do have 04 panels which have the knob. Just now harness to it. I can prolly go to salvage yard. I guess I have to open panel. Replace speakers anyhow. T.y
