I’m lucky to have a space where I feel comfortable talking about things for the most part I keep private. These past couple weeks have been tough but I am trying not to overload myself as if I’m over stimulated in any capacity my body shuts down. I film on my good days. My good days have been rare these couple of weeks but wishing more good days to come not just for me but anyone struggle in any way. Thanks for listening, Teresa. ❤️

I wasn’t expecting to hear about your struggles in this video. But honestly, it’s very comforting to hear people speak openly. It feels almost like acceptance. Like we know the things we go through are hard, but it’s ok. Personally I’ve struggled with multiple disorders throughout my life. When I was young I had athsma and dermatillomania, but I luckily grew out of both as I got older. However I also have ADHD and chronic anxiety, which I sadly will never grow out of and must instead just learn to live with. Also, while not chronic, I have had a few different periods in my life where I have been depressed, and at least once severely depressed. In the past 3 years I’ve also struggled with BED. Still, I try my best to be a positive person. I realize that people have struggles more difficult than mine. And I realize that many of my problems are temporary and really it’s only ADHD and anxiety that will never fully go away. But it’s ok and I’ve found ways to help myself with those things too. ASMR has actually been a huge help for both and I’m so glad I found it. It helps me to focus and complete work, calm down from stress, fall asleep, sooth headaches, or just relax in general. And I am very appreciative for ASMRtists like you who acknowledge their own struggles and want to help others. 💕

I’m sorry you’ve been having a difficult time. I sincerely appreciate you sharing a very personal issue & being vulnerable with us. I feel like these things should be normalized in society (all sorts of struggles that yield some mental sluggish issues, fatigue, depression, etc.) so people who need it will get help. I needed to hear this yesterday as I was having some Anxiety attacks that I haven’t had in a bit. Add a migraine and it was not a good night. It was perfect, I hadn’t even put my headphones in & I was already feeling relaxed. Thank you for all you do.

Holy 💩 I have FND also! Mine also expresses itself heavily on the left side with functional weakness/paralysis, tremors, seizures, hot dumpster juice memory and really bad brain fog. It’s actually fully disabled me as my heart now doesn’t work properly and I’ve suffered a mini stroke as well. I was told that it was brought on by a traumatic brain injury but I think they’ll find a genetic link if they keep studying. I’ve actually been planning to start a KZbin channel about living with it, but this year has been too much to handle so perhaps next year I’ll get it launched.

I have FND too, alongside Fibromylagia, Hypermobility and mental health issues. It honestly sucks because you can't do anything to cure it or its hard to explain something that's not visible. I have flares up with FND too so I struggle to speak and stay balanced but my everyday is affected by hearing loss, shaking when trying to hold something and on and off stutter. The constant pain is from my other two conditions. I often feel embarrassed and stupid when I struggle to do something or can't communicate something at work. But it helps too hear someone else talking about it so I don't feel so alone. Xx

This is kinda crazy, because I experience the exact same thing. When I’m too stressed, the left side of my body also goes numb. I’ve really been having to take care of myself lately because of that, but I felt alone in my experience. Every doctor I’ve talked to doesn’t understand or thinks I’m crazy. Anyway, I just wanted to say-Thank you for sharing. I’m here alongside you. We can get through this together.
