This is exactly how I remember my childhood days (nights). I used to sleep with this beautiful and comforting sound. I would like to take the opportunity to say that I respectfully disagree. I use these for sleeping and it's nice when they're a shorter video so that it's not still playing for hours after I've drifted off. I can just set it and forget it. Not taking away anything from your point or experience; I just want to point out the merits of shorter videos like these so that he can consider that as well.

I could sit and watch the rain for hours. This is so very relaxing to me. If your stressed, it takes all that away. When my brother and I were little. I was about nine and he was about four and it was pouring down rain like this. We would get our pillows and a blanket and lay by the front door. We always ended up falling asleep. Lucasta, you make the BEST videos EVER!! This scene reminds me when I was about twelve years old and my older sister was fifteen years old. Mom had sent us to town to the meat store to buy meat for supper. We lived about two miles from town and had no car so we had to walk. We got about a mile away from home when this heavy thunderstorm came over us. We got soaked to the bone !! We kelp on going towards town until we got to the meat store. Dripping wet we bought the meat for supper and headed back home. Our clothes clung to us like a second skin. Our shoes and socks were puddles in rain squishing out the tops of our shoes and making our feet slip around in our shoes. We ran for as long as we could and then walked as fast as we could switching out all the way home. The bag our families meat was in was now just shredded so my sister wrapped it in her light coat she was wearing at that time. We were freezing because it was late November but we still enjoyed that rain. Although it was hard to see thru our watery eyes the thunder boomed around us as we looked for close lightening. The skies were dark with stormy rain and flashing lightening all the way home. But , do you know the most amazing thing was God watched over us that day . Although lightening was close we did not get hit and, although many cars passed us on the road no one splashed road water on us as they sped by. We made it home just in time for mom to make a delicious supper and still have time to sit on the porch with my dad and all our family. Just a memory your town made me think of. Your street looks so very beautiful, it reminded me of my walk to town many many years ago. Thank you for that precious memory. 😃🙏🇺🇸❤☔⛈⛈🌧🌧☔
