The gyro's do a wonderful job of flying the plane but when I put mine in expert, it was uncontrollable. They don't list a CG anywhere on these airplanes, thats the problem. It's too far aft on mine. I now have the cg at 18mm from the wing/fuselage joint and was flying it in 5-10 mph variable winds. I don't have the landing gear on mine and adding would make it even MORE tailheavy. But, out of the box in trainer or sport, never knew there was a problem and it is amazing that something that weighs just over 2 ounces can fly so well. It's just normal manufacturing differences that makes one plane balance differently then another which is why you'll see some videos with experienced pilots that can fly in expert mode while others, like me, will immediately switch back to the gyros. These planes are a joy to fly. I was in my front yard early this week, before fixing the balance, flying my Jug in fairly heavy fog, skimmin the ground in the early morning. Now my only problem is putting such a small battery into a small airplane and getting the hatch shut with these big, old and stupid arthritic sausages I call my fingers. Ehhh, we all have our struggles. I'll see you in the air.

Hi I have the Volantex Spitfire and when I remove the flight battery from the Spitfire the transmitter beeps continuously until I switch the transmitter off is that correct

Sounds like you have the newer board/transmitter that is in the newest V2 P-51 and F4U Corsair. They both have plane Battery low voltage and Range warning telemetry. Where and when did you get your Spitfire?

Correct, it reads it as low battery or out of range hence the warning beeps

I think that you are thinking of the larger "Eachine" re-branded P-47 Razorback - made by Gawd-knows-whom but certainly not Volantex. That (and its stablemates the Mini Cessna and Mini Wing Dragon too) was a real POS and all are now discontinued! A pity as the frame off that can be easily modified to a 2-cell brushless set-up that flies very well!

"Eachine" is just the in-house re-brand label used by Banggood! You can see these Volantex toys for sale under probably a dozen different re-brand labels. eg Sonik, TopRace, RageRC, Eachine, Leambe, etc.

It does, Volantex is pretty good tbh
