I’m so buzzing your back in New York City!! Loved this one Mc!! Firstly you can’t beat a bargain. For $1 that’s a ten out of ten all day long for me. Cheap and cheerful on a cold blustery day. It’s a thumbs up from me. The Times Square footage was great. You could almost smell the side walk smoke and feel the atmosphere. I thought the music was a great fit too. This video has the jazz cafe vibe of the 1950’s, it gives off the Jack Kerouac poetic feel’s and all set against such legendary landmarks. So glad I found this channel and subscribed. It feels like a mini free tv show!! There’s only one thing missing!!?? Please bring the legend back that is Martin. Those deep mellifluous tones and cheeky northern banter have been sorely missed. There’s something about the states and you’ve taken off where you left off. I await with baited breath the “free hot dog” escapades!! Keep ‘em coming my friend!! 🙏❤️🥊.x

Really like how you're showcasing some reasonably-priced eateries this time, in contrast to your last visit, where you visited many high-end places. Also, loving the tour around NYC. Hey Lee! Hope you have recovered okay from your trip over to the states. Not a big fan of pizza but that’s a huge slice for the price. Looks like the huge pizza slices that are available in Costco in the UK. Can’t get over the size of the crosswalks never mind the place itself. So so very busy as you said. Hi Lee i didn't get a notification today 😥 Darlin' you wanna go to Amsterdam, not only do they have amazing cafes/restaurants where you can buy sliced pizza and a drink for undwr 7 euro, but they also have afew amzing vending machine shops, where you can legit but a slice of amazing pizza for a euro ( may have gone up slightly cos of inflation etc) would love to see you do a Netherlands tour, great city of history, culture and architecture!

Taxes here in the US are weird. It varies by state. I live between PA & Ohio, & can hop on over to Ohio, & buy groceries with no taxes added, but pay taxes on groceries in WV & PA. Everything is different, (property, food, clothes etc) & nobody could possibly know who taxes what until you're actually taxed.

Ah......, the USA where a bag of saline in a hospital can cost 700 dollars and in my country Germany still 1€ and 20 cents. Or a ride in an ambulance three thousand bucks......plus a slice of pizza 99 cents before taxes. A lousy room in a hotel in New York 400 bucks without breakfast, but a hotel de luxe in Alabama 75 bucks including a continental breakfast. Continental sounds great, but is next to nothing. On the other hand, been there three times and it will not be the last time.

With the sales tax, yes always charged separately as like Canada, but at least NY doesn't charge20% like the UK does on most items. I believe it is 8%?

It's a few years since me and the wife stayed at the Manhatan hotel on Times Square, we were there for 4 nights over 5 days, we found some great places to eat hidden on the side streets and McDonald's,subway and Pret are only a stones through away excellent value. Some of the best pizza I've had has been from chippies, the big pizza chains just don't do it for me. A 16" wood fired pepperoni and mushroom pizza from my local chippy is £11.90 and it blows anything from the chains out the water. Enjoy the rest of your trip mate 👍
