As you can see there is a bunsen burner right behind the actual injector. I guess they didn't use hypergolic propellants because they are really toxic and hard to work with. My wild guess would be ethanol and probably liquid oxygen

usually a backing gas is used to pressurize pressure fed rocket engine tanks. likely just compressed air for this quantified design. perhaps an inert gas would be wise, or hell, back it with nitrous oxide. why not lmao.

No no no no. The combustion is supposed to happen inside the rocket engine. That’s why they call it a combustion chamber. That’s a flamethrower, cool, but not a rocket engine. Buy some books, read a little. Does wonders.
