Alex, you hit the nail on the head when you say use a neutral swing! I use the 3 down to 7 and they have allowed my natural swing to come back after 50 years of trying to manufacture a decent iron swing. No stressing about inside or outside the line, just make a comfortable swing and let the club do the work. True they are not the most workable but they just make the game easier.

Recently went to Hereford to have a fitting with Richard and the team. Gave up golf 2 yrs ago for health reasons. I’m 66 and a 19 HC. Could not get over how easy it was to hit these clubs. I’m hitting them 10 to 15 yards further than my old Ping irons and the height you get is amazing. I’m back in love with golf again.

I really liked my set of Eleven hybrids. They are the only "game improvement" club that actually produced extra distance for me. I hit my traditioally-lofted 7-iron 150 yards and I hit the Eleven 9-hybrid 150 yards. These are great clubs if you want to simply swing hard and watch the ball go high, far, and generally straight, I highly recommend them. If you want shot shaping or a little extra touch around the greens, I'd stick with traditional clubs. The only gripe I had with the Eleven hybrids is that they take up an enormous amount of space in the bag, require the head cover to keep from incessantly clanging, and the covers are a pain to (i) see the club number and (ii) to take off and put back on. If that seems trivial to you, what are you waiting for? The website takes orders 24/7. :)

Hello from across the pond! I couldn't be happier with my ELEVEN set. I'm 75 and my swing speed is in the low 80s. I strongly recommend ELEVEN hybrid irons if (a) you need help getting the ball in the air, especially with the longer clubs, (b)you're losing distance with your traditional irons or even other hybrids, and (c) most of all, you'll find that the ball will still get up in the air should you strike the ground first - ugh! Your sins are forgiven with ELEVENs. Thank you Richard and the staff!

I play the Cleveland Hb Turbo irons which should be in the same class, but I am wondering if these would be even easier. It would be nice to see some comparisons between these hybrids and regular hybrid irons.

I use 2 hybrids and my first iron is a forgiving 7 iron. Works perfectly fine. When I started, I had up to an 11 wood (mostly just for fun)

I've been using my Elevens for 4 months. I've dropped 5-6 strokes a round. Even shot level par for the 1st time in 10 years. These clubs are simply terrific.

I bought the 3'iron' to test as a 12 handicap golfer who bags G425 irons. Have hit maybe 50 balls with it. Very inconsistent. Not much launch or distance. When I absolutely middle it, I might get 175 yards. Can do that with my 5w. Maybe a 7 or 8 would be a better club for people to experiment with.

My issues are hybrids, woods, and driver. Something about the iron swing is easier for me to stand over the ball and hit it straight. Driver, hybrids and woods swings don't feel right, comfortable or confident. I started in February and have had 2 lessons on grip. Addressing the ball & weight transfer. But my irons are the easiest to hit and stay in play.

I purchased an Eleven 3 iron a few weeks ago as a trial prior to potentially buying a full set, but unfortunately I just cannot get on with it at all. This was a potential to replace my old Adams set so I am used to playing hybrid irons but for some reason not this one. I was hoping that Eleven would consider some kind of a refund but not surprisingly the answer was no. Such a pity that you cannot try before purchase. Looks like it is Ebay now for me!

What’s the difference between these and Wazaki, or Forgan or Lazrus or Cleveland or Wilson sets? Quality, price, performance? Is it the hybrid theory itself or is it the brand of the club? Please review. Thank you.

Total agreement with this principle. I use Wilson Launch Pad 2 irons 5 to PW. They're almost hybrids like the Eleven set and have made golf a lot less frustrating for this old man. Fats and thins have been almost eliminated, some degree of adaptation has been necessary since it was difficult for me to hit down in the ball instead of sweeping the ball off the turf. Once I started using these clubs like irons, the additional height on the ball was a blessing to distance control. I'll not go back to conventional blades (had some MP 60s once) or cavity back (JPX 850). There's no happiness in hitting ordinary shots with beautiful clubs, when I can hit enjoyable shots to known distances so frequently.

Al, you need to grab a let’s say a 12 handicap golfer, who can obviously play good and bad shots, but is in the category of I wouldn’t use a set of hybrid irons……. Look, I was a low single figure handicapper back in the day, I’m now sixty and still single figure, but would definitely give them a try…. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tried the hybrid 5, did not like it much. I'm a golfer with a low swing speed. Too much noise and not as consistent as I expected. Just did not like them.
