Can someone explain 5:48. Distance calculations to the stronghold without calculator. He got a 3.9 angle which is close to the stronghold but He said the angle which was 69.2 on 3. Where is he getting the 3? I know he takes both angles from running 90 degrees and minuses it. Which gives him 3.9 as he said.

How do you live a life like this? It is so devoid of meaning. How do you go on knowing you have dedicated your life to something that will never make the world better in any way? Your every waking hour is wasted when you could otherwise be contributing to humanity. "Oh, but he donates his money to charity." You mean he donates other people's money to charity? He was literally given all the wealth he owns by people who actually worked for it. Who produced it? At best, he is an inefficient wealth redistribution tool. "Well, he entertains people, and entertainment is a contribution to humanity." Do you mean he provides a meaningless way for other people to avoid life and waste their time too? Streaming 100,000 Minecraft play-throughs for 10 years or however long it takes has got to be one of the most nihilistic time-sinks I have ever heard. Not only is he wasting his own time, he is also wasting the time of others. Like, bro. Just think of all the ways you could make the world a better place. All the ways you could produce something that is actually useful to society; that enriches the lives of others. Do you really feel that the product of your labour is life-enriching? Is this what you tell yourself at night? It is so sad. It is fundamentally selfish. I do not see how you could characterise this lifestyle, in good faith, as anything but a selfish means by which to defer on your responsibility to others. It is dereliction of duty.

No offense, but if you are here commenting on a KZbin video where he highlights a speedrun that he did during a donation stream how can you say you are better? Wouldn't your time be better spent being a productive member of society? Your logic isn't super sound. Couri makes people happy and this makes him happy. This is what he enjoys doing, and he in fact is helping others by doing so. If you don't like it you don't have to support it, but wasting your time on a hate comment like this is pretty hypocritical.

I have many contributing past-time activities and take my responsibilities and duties as a human seriously. Further, regardless of how long it took me to write that comment, I don't see why discouraging someone from wasting their life pursuing nothing wouldn't also be a worthwhile thing to do. I'm not the one wasting my time here; he and his audience are. There are literally problems to solve. The world needs him and people like him. The world needs people to take responsibility, fix it, and work towards making it better. There is so much wrong in the world. How can you justify this existence? "Couri makes people happy." You mean he distracts people from their real lives and their real life duties with some meaningless, futile childish activity? No good is produced by it. He enjoys wasting his time, and he encourages other people to enjoy wasting their time alongside him. It is fundamentally worthless and selfish. Seriously, what good comes of this? A faux sense of community to replace the hole in your hearts that would otherwise incentivise you to build a real community, or become worthy of being in one? It's just a time sink. I am responding appropriately. If you think this is overly dramatic, you are living in a bubble, like his guy is, where life isn’t a serious affair. I mean, look, this guy is literally dedicating approximately the next 10 years of his life to this worthless and meaningless endeavour. At the end, he will have achieved nothing. For all his actions, the world will be no different, but it will have passed him by. He will have developed in no way as an individual; in fact he will most likely have regressed spiritually, mentally, and physically. And it’s not like he’s an old man without much left to give and lots of time to burn. This guy is in the prime of his life, when he is most mentally and physically capable of actually applying himself. When he’s most capable of actually acting in such a way as to make the world a better place. It is so selfish to just waste that away on this. It is hedonistic. If you wish to be an entertainer, you must at least produce art. This is trash content. This is literally the digital equivalent of non-reusable plastic shopping bags. It belongs in a landfill, and, digitally speaking, that is where it will end up. It is trash content. The type of shit you see blown into some roadside crevice out the reach of anyone who would care to clean it up. It’s just data. Nobody will ever be moved by it, nobody’s lives will be meaningfully enriched in any permanent way. It is a waste. You called my words harmful; if telling the truth is harmful, then so be it. And to answer your final question, I get to tell people what is and isn’t okay because I am able to recognise what is and isn’t okay, as is anyone and everyone else if they simply decided to pay attention and take life seriously and act in accordance with some actual principles. Most people’s single and only principle is “Do whatever makes me feel good immediately all the time.” Principally, that is what this guy is aligned with, and that is how he justifies avoiding life. Happiness is for children. Do you want to grow up to be strong, or do you want to be a child in a man’s body?

@@EPlTHANY So your reasoning for your opinion being more valid and you being objectively a better person is that your opinion is more valid and you are objectively a better person. A couple things to note- 1. By your logic anyone who has not dedicated their entire lives and jobs to directly have a positive impact on the human race as a whole is a waste of space and the human equivalent of a plastic bag. This is how Couriway makes a living, and you telling him that it is wrong is both entitled and disgusting. You don't know what he does with the rest of his time. Even if you work full time hands on helping people which would be admirable and amazing, it doesn't give you the right to tell other people their jobs are meaningless. 2. Science has proven that entertainers can have a positive mental impact on people, and video games also can too provided they are done wisely and correctly. Couri clearly enjoys what he is doing, and if he were to have to do something else for a living how do you know that that will be fulfilling and mentally good for him? What works for you doesn't always work for everyone, and assuming anyone can do what you believe they should and still live a comfortable and healthy life is both unrealistic and self-centered. 3. By you commenting on his video you are bringing more traffic to it and actually growing his channel more than you will be stopping other people from watching this stuff, so if you really don't support what he is doing the best thing you can do is dislike the video and not comment or keep watching. 4. Also from someone who over there last two weekends has been actively volunteering easily over 40 hours and is considering pursuing a job in the human rights field, just because you are doing good things doesn't put you above other people. If helping others is something that fulfills your purpose in life, that's great and I am happy for you, but if you are putting others down without knowing their life or situation then you are making assumptions that are harmful and once again self-centered. So basically if you don't want to promote Couriway's content don't comment or respond to comments and remember that you are one person and no one has had the exact same life experiences or troubles as you and no one ever will. Don't assume that others can follow certain paths, and don't tell others that what makes them happy is invalid and not ok.
