Yea, I remembered recently how I became interested in minecraft speedrunning. It was a race between dream and Illumina, time was about 25mins and WRs were set like every few days. I remember Illumina unintentionally died twice in one of his WRs, it was hilarious, I thought that era was over, look at me now

yeah so for people that think pre 1.9 wr is really optimized now, no. definitely not. the best end enter? 13:52 by Eliotex. potentially a 12:xx end enter by nieuh about a month ago, but it took 2:30 to find the library. still a 15:xx end enter.

speaking of pre 1.9 wr, nieuh recently just got a 17:13 with a 13:52 end tying eliotex. Trading will be the future of pre 1.9 fast times and cant wait how fast times could be optimized and can be in the near future specially the end fights which was what lost neiuh the most time in the run
