Use around 10 kistler reels on the KLX models. They are smooth cast well. When I have a pike our catfish don’t give problems.

Picked mine up for $88. Haven't used it yet, but it does feel smooth. Upon meeting with the brakes, you can lock them off. I recently picked up the daiwa tatula mq lt, and man I'm in love with it. Stay a great reel. Solid. Smooth. Great feel. I couldn't put it down, and I don't get turned on by spinning reels as they're all the same and they're tools.
@L0st-n0foundАй бұрын
I hate knowing they were $88 because I can't buy two or three at $99 now knowing that. On the plus side not available in left handed and as I'm a right hander I try to only use left reels as that's only thing makes sense. I do use right when getting spectacular deals like new Daiwa luna for 100, piscifun alloy m for $28 and change, Abu Revo Toro for $50 etc

Got mine a month ago for $88!! Really great reel that is smooth as butter...As good as, if not better, than any other bait caster at this price point.

Better than the LFS WOW lol right on. I’m not looking for a Reel but the Abu looks extremely comfortable to hold and the Kistler does also. Great review my friend stay safe and warm up there….

I got 2 of them in the summertime on a bogo deal. $75 each was a deal. I bought the 200 size and like them a lot. I have used heavy ish weight lures but, they will send it! I am pretty impressed.
@Daiwa_Is_KingАй бұрын
For 100 bucks I think that’s a really good deal. I wouldn’t pay any more than that for it though. On Amazon Japan 🇯🇵 right now you can get a tatula tw 100 for 119.84 so that’s what I base it off. Thanks for the video Debo I really like the gear reviews I would have to say they are my favorite style of videos on your channel. Tight lines bro have a great rest of your week !!

I’m not going to knock the reel as I haven’t tried it but I picked up a Dream Tackle Design reel from Ali Express which is currently $85.10, it’s basically an Okuma Hakai with a short shaft spool with a magnetic brake system that throws 1/8 ounce inline spinners to 3/8 ounce spinner baits with zero issues. If you’re not opposed to buying a Chinese reel from a Chinese website it’s worth looking at.

I've been using 3(100) Chromiums for almost a year. From reaction baits(chatterbait, lipless, square bill) dragging baits(tx,free,neko) and jigs with some fairly lightweight. Medium size (4-7in) glidebaits. Topwaters walkers, popper and frog. Very impressive especially for the price. I'm extremely hard/neglectful on gear ive cleaned them once and hulked out on a frog fish in heavy hydrilla may and broke a handle (my fault). Caught some monsters with them. No problem with the drag. Centrifugal break takes some getting used to (start out tight)

It’s tempting at that price point but I don’t use all my reels enough since I bought the new Shimano Curado M and I can’t decide if the K is better than it.

I understand sales and all but kistler with their suggested MSRP that seems bloated is off putting. So never really looked into their gear. …. For $99 it’s still SLX, $150 SLX 70 MGL, then that $175-210 is the Daiwa 100 or SV 100. Those reels are tough to beat. The Ark Gravity reels have been a surprise for me. I picked up the gravity 3 on BOGO ($65 / reel) and it’s been a great palpable reel that’s easy to use. Id like to try the 5 or 7 but it’s tough to buy them knowing I can get a tatula 100 or a curado at the same price.

Our Fleet Farm has the SLX A for $99. I was going to get my son that for Christmas. Would you get this one instead? He keeps wanting to use my Tatula so its time to upgrade his reel to something smoother. He currently uses a Lews Xfinity.

I thought the Ferrari was a Lancia, which is Italian for “hand grenade.” I remember the Saab Sonnet. An attorney I worked with had to shell out $700 for a new transmission, which was a lot in the mid 1970’s. The Honda Civic didn’t look like the US imported model. And yeah that first(?) red car looked like a Chrysler Cordoba, with fine corinthian leather, according to Ricardo Montalban. I call Japanese issue.

They say those reels are made in the US but...that reel has a Chinese designers design lol. It truly looks just like a premium reel from China. Wonder if theyve worked with that company to get the design. I already know its not 100% US as some of those components are made in China and another asian country.
