Springfield has always been a sh!thole long before I started going there in the early 90s. College kids were being stabbed by gang members right on the Springfield College campus.

Worry too much about losing a bait instead of getting closer to where the fish live.

The Oneten Rs have one single ball weight transfer system, comes with beefier saltwater hooks, and is a true suspender. The std. Onetens have 2 weight transfer balls, lighter gauge hooks, and is a slow floater. You can fish the Rs a little more aggressively without hooks getting tangled

I believe the R version 110 is a strait retrieve bait. Not a jerk or twitching style. It gives jerk bait action with a crank bait strait retrieve... or so I am understanding. Could be way off

If you do any serious winter jerkbait fishing you understand the difference between the Vision 110 and every other jerkbait on the market. They cost that much because they really are that much better...

The Deps slide swimmer line up has the soft skin, that tail will bend so be conscious of how it’s stored. I throw my Deps 115 on my medium jerkbait rod with 12 lb. Fluoro and it’s a beast, caught a few trout on it. Maybe you’ll like the GC 70 but personally was not a fan. If you want a small BFS glide that is that size and super stable you should check out the Era Baits Tiny Glide.

22 grams is 3/4 ounce basically. It’s .776 ounces. 7g’s =1/4 Oz. 14 g’s is a 1/2. 28g’s is an Ounce even.

I will confirm, Gen 3 now made in PRC instead of Korea, but still a nice reel, I got a Gen 3 because the 5.6 ratio available in left now. But, amazing how easy it was to dial it in, casts great, but not any better than my Gen 2.

Megabass is that expensive in Japan like in the US our Europe, in France Tackle Shop they want over 30€, 35$ + in Germany i pay 22€ in 25$ that's the normal price, in Japan you get the same baits for 13-14 bucks, that' s why i prefer Imakatsu much cheaper than Megabass and the colors are Dope!

Debo, we have the same taste lol I just bought an 300MD and SLX DC XT. I paid $190 though for the scorpion, where did you get it for $170?? The SLX DC XT was around $160, both from JapanLureShop

Even though I rarely adjust brakes on a reel, taking the cover off is something im not interested in doing. You drop it, and the day is ruined.

Great video! I have fallen myself down the JDM rabbit hole. I really like the back sliding technique. If you like the JACKALL Cover Craw you might like the RAID Bukkomi Craw. Really cool bait. I get mines from Asian Portal Fishing, good pricing. Look forward to your video.

Was thinking the other day that it would be cool with a hollowbody with a "katamaran" but all the way back with a single hook in the crack. Kinda like a offset but instead of going through the body the hook just follow the body and coming up the rump. And the hook goes through the nose just like a regular offset rigging. A small boberstop to keep the hook from sliding when working it. Maybe it has been done and maybe it has not for a good reason. xD

Those Slide Swimmers are probably good for when the wind is less than ideal for your typical glides. The soft coverings will probably make them a little quieter. Like the look of those bladed jigs too!
