992 GT3 MR manual Nurburgring, chase the FASTEST BMW (M4 SCHIRMER) !!

First let’s have Few words for my new car that i tested enough to give you a report about my feeling (i need a bit more practice to be faster and doing clean laps)
I must say the 992 plateform is very very well born! The balance of the car is ABSOLUTELY perfect and make it sooo easu to drive, car feel planted and safe.
When you watch the speedo on few corner it is VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE, for exemple the fast righ in Hatzenbach section (0:47min in the video) impress me a lot.
i took it few time 178km/h minimum speed with used cup 2 with just lifting a little bit!! That is 6/7km/h faster than the speed of the gt2 rs MR in that corner!
With new cup r i think we can pass almost no lifting and close to 200kmh 🫣
That is the same for the rest of the track, the car is really unbelievable.
Just the feeling in the steering wheels is not an RS feeling, i mean the direction is not super direct as on rs model but it is completely fine.
Aero is also more than enough from stock 👍🏻
So Had a ride of two laps (cooling down at brunchen on second lap) with @joshytrackday, very young ex gokart racing driver who started to drive nordschleife few times ago and became….a fast boy 🤩
He did last year 6:57min with his BMW and that make him the fastest customer in a BMW on the nordschleife 😎👍🏻
His car is very special and more a race car than a street legal car.

He was on new Cup 2 R and me on 50 laps old cup 2 normal not R
Even with R tire i do not think i can beat him, let’s see later this year when i will be more familiar with my gt3 and with new tires…

If someone ever asks you how to tell a good driver apart from a bad driver, you can show them this video and put the focus onto one thing only: How slowly he turns the steering wheel. Of course he knows the track and the line and of course the 992 GT3 is an amazing car. But: Drivers with little experience often think that the faster you drive the faster have to be on the wheel and its simply wrong. Amazing to watch and thank you for sharing Sir!

The car is very very easy….but at the same time you can also crash hard if you overdrive! Is why it is good to familiarize step by step and feel where the limit gently. 991 plateform is more easy to find the limit of the car

It is perfect setup for nordschleife!….but it works perfect on slick tires and here he drives in semi slick, so not optimal

The GT3 is so much better balanced, lying so much better on track that the surely not bad alligned & setup M4 nearly looks ridiculous in his movements... But it's obvious that the driver is doing very very well.

That's the in aero difference between a modified street car and a racecar modified for street use. I thought, the BMW drives on rails . A comparison to a cup car or maybe a 992 gt3 rs would be more accurate... but definitely nice drive 🕵️‍♂️🚣‍♂️😇😂😊

When your braking into a 3rd gear corner from 5th, why don't you just change straight into 3rd, why bother meshing into 4th first if this makes any sense at all lol:::)))

We need the 4th in that case to get the engine braking, if you pass directly from 5th to 3rd, it can unsettle the car and also it can be dangerous for the engine if you are not synchronized
