I have these born pretty cat eye gels and I do the same as what you do then I cheat and cure them. Then I put another layer on top and use the circle magnet in the middle only to perfect the circle illusion. Xxx

I did it twice! So what did I do differently? First part the same. Second bit large part of magnet attracting but instead of upright tilt the tops towards each other. As soon as halo appears in each side hold it there where enough can see it and then lift magnets directly up. Yes I did it twice in about 100 attempts! Last couple I did so decided I could do it hahahaha. Broke a magnet and need better polish. X

If you ever decide to try these again, try angling the magnets when you push from the top & bottom. Like you angled the magnets up from below the nail when pushing in from the sides, but angle them down from above the nail when pushing top to bottom. If that makes sense. It took me about a thousand tries to get it right and to no real purpose, since I'm not a nail tech, I only do my own nails, and there isn't a snowball's chance in hell I would ever be able to do this on myself😅 I am gonna try to make decals next, though...

When you are trying out the different techniques on the beginning, are you going back over with the top oy color coat, or dry brush, I can't tell what's on your brush. ( Example around 14 mom mark) TY. I have some Born Pretty car eye stuff and magnets arriving tomorrow

I don't know if you've tried this again since. But, i was thinking... you mastered the magnets on the sides. What if you turned the nail tip so you could keep the magnets on the side (so to speak) instead of the top & bottom? Have you tried angling the magnets slightly differently? Like tipping it upwards/downwards from the nail tip. That was the part I didn't quite get when i 1st started magnets. Once I realized the angle of the magnet mattered, it made all the difference for me. I hope you have tried again or that you will & that you haven't completely given up on it

Yep I think it’s only the US that does it like m/d/y. This girl I use to be friends with who I grew up with called me stupid bcuz I tattooed a date on my ankle and it’s written m/d/y. Although if their native language isn’t English I totally get how English is so confusing... especially when you get into the differences in how a word is spelled in the US vs Europe or Canada. Like with color/colour, gray/grey, canceled/cancelled & so on. Neither is wrong, they’re both right it’s just a slight difference from one country to the next & for anyone trying to learn English I wish you the best lol the language is kinda crazy. For example "’Mercedes" 3 e’s each one pronounced differently, what the hell? English is confusing even for most native English speakers, so when I say good luck I mean that shit from the bottom of my heart 💯 Gawd yeah that girl was a piece of work, things got to the point she was making up full on lies about things I did & would sit there in front of me trying to convince me I don’t remember 😒 I’m one of the few people who correctly remembers things from when I was a toddler. I seen someone take the round magnet under the nail to get the effect, but it was part of a pictorial not a video so I guess I don’t really know if that worked better or not but if you still have these around it might be worth a try 🤷🏻‍♀️ although it’s not like your not going to be able to take it under the nail if your painting it on a client 😂 I’ve had my eye on these same ones for a while now wondering how well they worked, I gave in recently and bought a couple from a different brand that are in bottles not pots. If they ever get here I’ll let you know if they work any better.

Ok one thing this gal noted was the magnetic holder you have, hers apparently are plastic, she used the blue gummy shit, and held hers down on the table with that stuff. She said the mags might not attract properly with other metals around distracting the metals in the polish. What I saw from her, was exactly as you did where the magnets attracted ea., from the sides. Then (not sure if this matters, she didn't say) turns the magnets facing down, and from the top and bottom, you slide the top, holding the bottom one in place at the bottom of color, but slowly push the top one down. Hold that one, and move the bottom one up slowly. OMG, it worked there was no start or stop at all on video, this chick bakes that, then does a second color inside that one, oh fuk me, lmfao!!!

The imperial system was invented in Britain! We officially adopted the metric system - which was invented in France - in the 60s, but most people here can use both metric and imperial, as our parents learned what their parents knew, and we learned from our parents, but were taught something else, so both are used over here, though not in official capacities. It's just the U.S, Liberia, and Burma who don't use metric. It's sooo much easier than imperial!
