The rain always makes it harder because the ball is slick, it becomes heavier, and the friction it causes when the ball is moving through it changes trajectory and speed.

That last Niners drive was how they've been playing all season and they could've done that the entire game, so we don't really know what Shanahan was trying to do through the first 3 quarters of the game, but we know the last quarter was definitely how the Niners should've been playing all game. I personally would've liked to see a more run focused game, but the entire 4th quarter showed the resolve of the Niners and Brock Purdy, who many analysts think can't play from behind or be clutch when their back is against the wall. All in all, it wasn't the best win, but it was a necessary hard fought win.

On the refs for this game ... There were missed calls on both sides so I am not going to bitch to much. I was at the game and can tell you it was windy for some parts of the game but the main thing was it was raining hard most of the game ... I was soaked on the drive home ... I live in Sacramento so that was a not fun drive home. Purdy was struggling due to the pressure/rain and wasn't as sharp. Saying that he came up in the clutch which tells you more about the player then anything... People celebrate "The Catch" but forget that Montana had multiple INTs that game. In the end Green Bay was the team that eliminated Dallas and I was expecting a fight ... In the end it turned out to be the best play off game so far and Niners have next week to punch their ticket to the super bowl. For Sunday I'm going Bills and I'm going with a interesting upset ... I say Tampa gets past the Lions in a close game as Goff comes up short.
