The campus is very active especially as a fresher, there is always something to do. Having our own nightclubs on campus is also quite handy, SU and Medicine nights are lit!! Join societies too! People are very welcoming so you have nothing to worry about. Good luck x

Hey! Loved the video! I am an international student considering applying this year, but are there many international students there? And is it common for students to go to London sometimes, like during holidays and weekend? Also, is Egham a nice place, like are there things to do there? Thank you and sorry for so many questions! Beatriz Van Erven of courseee hun, theres a lot of international students dont you worry, people from varying corners of the world come to RH, its awesome. Central London honestly becomes home since its so close and so accessible from RH, so so many students go to london to sightsee, eat or even for a night out so you’ll have a bunch of fun & Egham itself is a quiet little town, with some local restaurant and pubs. In terms of things to do, its better to go outside egham for example Thorpe Park in staines, again going to sightsee in london, windsor and virginia water. Cath and Nessa I’m planning to do my accommodation for rhul today and from speaking to loads of people I think Butler, Tuke and Williamson is the best for me. Do you have any pros and cons about specifically that accommodation? I wanted to ask about the student experience psychology student at rhul generally have. Like are the lecturers helpful and how they feel about the support they get. Can’t wait to see the video on accommodation! Also thank you for replying :)

Indie the trio of butler, tuke and williamson is is probably the best and most convenient accommodations on campus, esp as a psych student you are literally a minute walk to the psych building (wolfson), the hub (getting packages delivered will be the easiest thing ever) and medicine. butler is defooo my fave accom, but only coz thats where i lived. All 3 have similar features anyway so it wont be much differences. The trio are convenient to everything on campus, library, founders, su shop etc. Only downside i could think is the distance to nearest bus stop is like 10 minutes and you have to go uphill 100% of the time, but after a while you get used to it. Walking to egham town is a challenge but doable, luckily we also have a uni bus that goes to egham high street but again, you have to go uphill 😂. Otherwise great choice!! Those 3 are defo the best accoms on campus

Indie and then psychology review: i truly felt like the department do their best to accommodate to everyone’s situations, they are always on hand if there is anything wrong. All lectures have drop in session where you can go speak to them one on on if you didnt understand anything in the lecture, most lectures tend to be quite self explanatory so you may not need to speak to them often. I would defo buy the recommended books coz most of the lecture slides are basically a copy and paste of the book. Personal tutors are also really helpful, they provide you with extra support if there are areas you are not understanding. There is sufficient help and guidance for all assessments. The only downside for me is that 3rd there really wasn’t that much help in terms of dissertation, its a literature review but they didn’t really provide help on how to write and structure something like that but thats years away for you. Charlie Mepham congrats for getting into them boo!!! when choosing uni honestly go with where your heart lies. Focus on type of course provided and whether its an idea location for you. I’m sure youll make the right decision in the end. If you need info on RHUL, just let me know xox

Nora Alkhaldi So i was in Butler B, it was soooo convenient because its central to everything and literally 5 minutes walk to most places on campus. It was very social because you are so close to everything and everyone. The most social accom would be George Elliot, you get to live with 12 people but only share bathroom with 3 so it’s not too bad. There’s always something happening over there and most societies meet up at G.E. So if you are looking for a social and fun atmosphere, defo G.E. Butler, Tuke and Williamson are a very close second though. Everywhere else is the ghetto😂 hope this helped you out 😘

I don't know what to do because theirs either Exeter or royal Holloway, even if I'm 30 minutes away from royal Holloway I wanna live there, and my family are forcing me to go to Exeter even though I get more of a vibe in royal Holloway and I believe the bme is higher here so IM SO CONFUSED AND SCARED!!

Julizlefizle sooo my accommodation was quite expensive that pretty much all of my student loan went to accom, i think i was left with like a £100 after i paid rent. So the student finance maintenance loan did help pay for my accom but everything else i had to get for myself. I hope that answered the qs

Aww guys dont even worry about it. Like we said there are so many new faces looking for friends as well. Even if its not in halls, you’ll make friends in your course or in societies that you join. Just put yourselves out there, it will all fall into place. Freshers is defo where you will your friends, drunk out your head in the SU toilets 😂😂. (Unless you dont drink then 😅). But overall You will be fine

@@ValenN123 ETH Zürich lmao... It's among the top unis for comp sci With relatively low tuition fees. The only down side was that I had to learn German because almost all bachelor programs are taught in german.

I dont really know where Bushey is hun🥴😭from what i’m finding on google, it might take take about 2 hrs. It might be a bit of a distance especially when you have a 9am lecture to get to. For myself, i know i would be too lazy to commute🤣😩 i hope that helped?
