9KW Sauna Steamers for mushroom cultivation - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

In our first video I talk about the use of 9kw sauna steamers for atmospheric sterilization, my experiences with them and why I don't think its a good option for small commercial mushroom farms.

@@pollopollo3531 I cant wait..I'm gonna have to use 1 220/240 v element instead of 2 because that's all I have left on my panel,although I might jsut have ot to where i can just plug in .y dryer outlet

Good vid, Yeah those ebay machines are def hit and miss. I have a Mr. Steam 12KW generator that I picked up free with no controls. The elements are mint and worth 600$ alone but the board failed so I just bypassed it, redirected the transformer and added a stainless vertical float switch to trigger the water inlet. I don't mind getting a $5,000 machine free and making work. Love it and puts out great steam!

Thanks for video. Using for shower. Only green light comes on (with constant red-power) when started. On controller only amber comes on. No water is being heated. Help?

Nice video man. My 2nd sauna steamer is still going strong. Got about 8 months out of the first and about 5 months in on the 2nd. Def wanna give the barrel steamer a try though.

Thank you for information. Does it have to be a 9kw? I noticed the 6kw and 7kw all heat up to 131*F

I only have experience with the 9kw units and surely they are the most widely used. Depending on the size of the container you're pushing steam into, a smaller unit could work, it would just take longer to get up to temp. Make sure you measure if you go that route. I recommend using a barrel steamer instead which I covered in another video.
