Wow, what altitude did you release at? Insane that you appear to be towed up on a active highway.

Thank u! I Something around 700m. It was in the middle of desert, that's why not many cars where on that street so it was no problem.😄

if that could help, I found that training a lot of stalls made me more comfortable in turbulences

Ye you can get used to it but somewhere comes the point when flying about 1-2 hours can get really exhausting. You have to like a bit of rodeo and screaming variometers. Personally I find a strong change of lift in a short distance way creepier. It feels like someone hit your glider with a proper hook from below and pushes you up out of nowhere.

That's NOT music. It's an audible vertical speed indicator. The faster and higher the pitch the greater amount of indicated lift the pilot is flying through. Vertical speed indicators are absolutely essential tool for any soaring activity.
