I'm just one among the tons of fans who are sad to hear you've decided to stop making videos. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision, but please know that you produced the most entertaining and informative practical ammo test videos on all of KZbin, and I'm grateful for every single one. Thank you, and best of luck to you in the future!

Not to diss tnoutdoor9, but I do think Paul Harrell, Brass Fetcher, and ShootingtheBull do tests that are equally as thorough and scientific or even more so. Tnoutdoors 9 is one of the greats for sure, but I don't think anyone is unequivocally the best. They all do things the others don't. They should all be consulted before selecting defensive ammo - and for what can be learned from their research

He has one more video he's going to post by the end of the month and that will be the end of tnoutdoors9. This is from the about section on his channel. PLEASE NOTE: September 8, 2014 - One final ammo review in the pipeline (by end of the month) and that will close out my content producing contribution to the channel. This hasn't been a painless decision, but it is the most practical choice. It's time to focus foremost on supporting my family and tackling the endless list of time-sensitive challenges and opportunities presented via my career. I will monitor the channel as time permits, and certainly continue buying and using products in support of the firearms industry. Thank you for your support and understanding.

I just wanted to say thank you for all your effort and time. I can genuinely say that of all the KZbin gun channels yours is by far the best. It's not only entertaining, but informative. But, it's your delivery that takes the cake. No stupid gimmicks or image. Just real straight up information. When watching other informative videos I often seem to find myself yelling at the author for repeating themselves over and over, or getting themselves side tracked and losing focus on what the video was actually about. But as I stated earlier, your videos are SPOT ON, all the info I'm looking for delivered perfectly! So once again, THANK YOU, and best wishes on your future endeavors!

Life has a way of getting in the way of things you love doing, doesn't it. Sorry to see you go, as you were my, and many others, go-to channel for finding new and different types of ammo to carry. You instilled confidence for many of us in the type of ammo we carry because of the time and cash you put into your videos. You enlightened us about something most of us are unable to test on our own. You made what was a seemingly impossible and endless decision into sometimes an easier one, and many times you made it much harder (not a bad thing at all!). Again, thank you so much, and we all look forward to the day that you upload another video, as your no bull shit, facts only information is something that is hard to come by. Best, Phil

Great format & video! Most folks can't put that amount of data into an hour, let alone 8min! As for the Golden Sabre. DocGKR has actually said that he likes the GS for its cutting profile, as cutting causes more permanent wounds than crushing. I wouldn't feel bad carrying the bonded, especially in .38 where ammo makes all the difference. From what I read down the comments, I'll be sad to see you go but happy you're making the right choice for yourself and family. Well TN, I haven't talked much over the years, but I have watched all your videos with great enthusiasm, and always eagerly awaited the next posting. You will be missed by a lot of people, because you took the time to not only set up very careful testing perimeters, but you explained everything so even I knew what was going on. A lot of people make videos, but only a few have the ability to really teach and make the information interesting. You have to be able to hold the listener and give him what he's looking for, and you've done that successfully and steadily for several years. I applaud you and thank you. God bless you in your endeavors. Steve McLaughlin

Thanks very much for your excellent ballistics videos! I'm pretty picky about ammunition evaluation vids, as my educational background is in physics i appreciate your effort toward accurate and objective evals. Since you asked... I carry an HK .45, and my favorite carry round is the Remington 185gr. +p Golden Saber, which i used to get by the case for a modest (in today's market) $150. The muzzle flash is significant with a ball of fire about the size of a volleyball, but it's not blindingly bright like muzzle flash can be, so it hasn't been a problem for me reacquiring the target for multiple shots in low-light scenarios. I have seen the jacket separation as you describe with the unbonded Golden Saber, but when it occurs, it seems to be very much like the example in this video, with the jacket & core being found together if slightly disconnected, which to me isn't really an issue with regard to my confidence in the round's effecacy. I have typically used a thawed out frozen turkey covered with denim and other clothing as my test medium, and the 185gr. +p GS seems to produce much more devastating results than the Hornady TAP +p (200 & 230 grain), Speer Gold Dot 200gr. +p, Federal Hydra-shok, or any of the other rounds i have tested. I haven't yet tried the Fed. HST, nor the Nosler bonded, but i suspect they may edge out the Saber as my favorite carry rounds. Thanks so much again for your time, effort and expense that you have gone to producing the best, most informative ballistics videos available. Peace, -Yogi
