Thank you for your comments. I think this is almost close to the original lyrics, though I translate some Japan-specific expression freely. This song was newly written for Berserk and the band wants to express everything of the tune in an opening movie of the anime-program. That's why this "Inferno" is only 1:30 long.

There has been one song they used for the original series that was way worse and far more out of place, but it was still catchy. 90秒完結作品ということで前々からこの短時間でいかに9mm感を出すのかと思っていました。しかし流石は9mm。私たちの期待を裏切りませんね。この短時間でも9mmの唯一無二のサウンド感を最大限に発揮しています。 滝さんのギターをいきなり出したことには驚きました。多分これで「ベルセルク」をみて9mmを初めて知った人のハートに火をつけるのは間違いないでしょう。また、メンバー全員の顔が今回認識しにくくなっており、目が光っていました。怪しい感じを出すことにより、MWAMのように「なんだこいつら。面白そう。顔見たいな。」と思わせファンを引き寄せるためでしょうか。 曲自体は「生命のワルツ」や「誰も知らない」のように三拍子です。9mmはLost!!は四拍子ですが三拍子やはたまた五拍子などただ単に四拍子の曲を作らず、リズム根本から変えることがよくあります。今回もやってくれましたよ9mmさん達は(笑) ベルセルクという作品はとてもワイルドな感じを受けています。そんな作品にはぴったりの一曲ではないでしょうか。90秒完結でアニメ界に衝撃をもたらして欲しいです。

There are songs that are made for specific anime too and aren't short. Take for example the opening themes for Attack on Titan, they were definitely made specifically for the anime but aren't originally short. As I said, 9mm has done short songs before, even though they're not even for anime. So 9mm is one big reason why this short version is actually the full version

歌詞が良いっすよねホント。Aメロ良いし、Bメロは最高なんですけど、悪い点があるならサビが明るすぎるとこだけかなぁと思います。まぁでもOPという事を考えれば100点満点と言わざるを得ない素晴らしい曲です。 9mmの曲をマトモに聴くのは初めてでしたが、とつてもかっこいいバンドですね。

For those who came here bcs of Berserk, pls check the rest of 9mm Parabellum Bullet's songs. They are great band, but so underated. Finally I could watch this. The MV is like the hardcore blue version of Lost. And also scarrier, I love the blue eyes thing, idk is that a part of Berserk (I only ever read the BL doujin :P). AFAIK, they never made PV like this. I never realized that Takuro's eyes is so beautiful. This is amazing Waltz of Life Line was just yesterday now we have Inferno. The song is so badass. I didn't like this as soon as I heard the preview but now YAY. I really love the guitar part... (This is song is also composed by Taki? I think?)

It will be so many I love their hits like; Black Market Blues, The World, Atarashi Hikari, Supernova. But their slow songs like Kuroi Mori no Tabibito, Kamome (the orchestra and accoustic version is my favourite) and Inochi no Zenmai are also so good. Another songs are part of their album or EP like 3031, Trigger, Mad Pierrot, Daremo Shiranai are all also good. Dawning and The Revolutionary are my favourite albums of them.

Reading the manga (deluxe editions are beautiful). Got to judeau's final moments......cried for like five minutes right after he asked if his last knife hit.(hey he was my favorite). Even though I knew what was going to happen. The art in these bring out so much emotion. Starting volume 14 now(deluxe #5).
