I don't know how I ran into this video, but 92 was a great year for metal and theres some great tunes being played in this. The church burnings were just taking off at that time too.😅

I was already a metalhead, but 1991 and 1992 is when I discovered Death Metal. The only thing I know about "Black Metal" at that time was it was a Venom record 😀. It wasn't until I got out of the Marines in Summer 1993 that I discovered Black Metal (Emperor, Burzum, Mayhem, Enslaved, etc).

@megiloth3634 Those are some of my favorites. I also relate to the barracks life (I was AF 2003-2009), and this is pretty similar. Only difference was my neighbors hated the constant metal being played (they were into rap).

@@b.entranceperium Same thing when I was in Okinawa. Guys in the room below us in the barracks were into hip-hop stuff. After a few hours of thump thump thump, we decided to place the Cerwin Vegas with 15" woofers face down on the floor and blasted some Godflesh. That put an end to that nonsense!

20:47 - I loaned Ray $500 to buy that Lincoln Continental. Until he paid me back, that "hoop-dee" was technically mine too . Separate note, no appearance from yours truly in this one👎🏻

@@megiloth3634 I should start introducing myself as Lance Manion. I'll definitely get instant respect - WORD!
