Truly one of the top producers to EVER do it in my opinion and I’ve been around 43 years so there are very few producers that I’m not familiar with. I don’t mean producer like Diddy who def is a producer bc of his ear, I’m talking raw from the inception to finished beat kind of producing.
@BackToTheBoomBap2 жыл бұрын
Because of what 9th did from like 2003-2008, he has become a legend for me. All hip-hop producers get measured against the Pete, Large Pro, Dilla, etc so if you're someone that there is a clear line from them to you then I have to give you respect. 9th Wonder never switched his style to pander to radio.

Something makes it feel fuller on the low end to me which in turn makes it feel groovier and more ‘as 1’ during the main hook throughout the entire track…super smooth low end and bass. - CSL x MPN -1-

As a guitarist, the term "Producer" has always been associated and possibly confused with "Engineer"...like Eddie Kramer for Hendrix for example.... they just sat and added effects and ran the mixer. Been a NY style fan with basically everything I heard from there. I figured it was made by a DJ spinning records...or by magic er something! To heck with FL Studio! I want a turntable and an FPC!
