This was a very rare Targa which i sold a couple of months ago- it was a 1994 , one of allegedly 21 ever produced. Iamdetailing did a spectacular job as usual.

How does it react to wet oily surfaces or grease? Or shall I be asking what is the grease and wet oils reactions to the dry ice? Sublimation’s effects on liquid substances on solid and porous surfaces?

Anyone use dry ice to do other pressure washing like sidewalks and such?
@Linas944turbo3 ай бұрын
All bolts and steal plates on the bottom of the car looks like new after wash. It is because all bottom was covered with wax (this yellow/brown stuff) at the factory to prevent rust. Now you washed it off. Guess what happens next.

Looks amazing- but it's a 964 so it won't look like that after 100 miles- unless every single leak has been dealt with- and I suspect that didn't happen here considering how it started out- 964's are wonderful cars- but oh do they leak- like a sieve- I have to keep a cardboard sheet under mine when it's parked- until I rebuild it- it's a leaker- even after a re-seal. Mine has the early heads so it's the worst leaker Porsche ever put on the road- but it's a 3.6 so who cares- add oil and drive the $hit out of it!

Amazing to me how poorly people treat their cars-even ones with residual value.

Scrubbing that interior with a brush like that is completely unnecessary and just subjects the materials to additional wear and tear. Only use the amount of cleaning force as needed with these cars - nothing more. Also - don't use any liquids near the power window buttons as the brackets behind them will rust. Never scrub the dash like that. It is just not necessary. I'm glad this is not my 964.
