I wasn't a big Porsche fan until I found your channel. Of course, making them look better than new really makes you appreciate them more

This my favorite Porsche of all time. I don't care how many new models they come out with. If I could, I'd buy a base model 2024 911 and sell it to buy a 964. 💯💯

We’re doing well! Jakub and the boys are plenty out of harms way, if anything a little smokey. I (Evan) am much closer to the palisades fire but still outside of the warning zone and safe. The firefighters have made awesome progress the last two days. Thank you for asking my friend!!!

I can't believe the amazing work you guys perform, awesome! I would love to bring my vehicle to Costa Mesa but unfortunately I live in the Denver Colorado area. Do you have a sister shop in the Denver metro area? If you don't, is there someplace you recommend that would do the same kind of work? Let me know when you have a moment, thanks!

Wish you had shown how you removed all of the glue off from the PPF off and what you did with the black trim. Good video.

We use “rapid remover” on the adhesives and just artdeshine ceramic coating on the trims

I learned about ice blasting from your channel. Always impressive. Does it leave a huge mess on your shop floor?

Another amazing video! What do you wipe on the metal to allow the laser to work more effectively ?
@IAMDetailing15 күн бұрын
It’s a degreaser - sometimes with the laser and the dry ice, it needs something to “latch on to” for lack of a better word, allowing it to cut through to the base material

What happened after the first wash when it had a different set of wheels put on?
@jonathanbach797815 күн бұрын
Is the washing with soap/water done before the dry ice? Wouldn’t that cause possible weathering on bare metal parts to get them wet? Love this channel. Super interesting stuff.
@IAMDetailing15 күн бұрын
No, its done afterwards as seen in the videos. We reapply protective coating after ice cleaning so that’s not really a concern, in addition to soft water and being indoors
@jimpeterson553416 күн бұрын
What brand of products do you guys use for cutting and polishing? I’m curious as I love the results your achieving
@IAMDetailing15 күн бұрын
We are typically using sonax or kochchemie compounds!

Is it not detrimental to remove the factory undercoating that helped the car live this long in the first place? Do you replace the cosmoline or leave the chassis bare?
@IAMDetailing15 күн бұрын
When removing the protective coating, there’s several things to consider - we always replace protective wax on the vital components of the car that are most susceptible to rust and corrosion no matter what. Additionally, we often apply a fresh coat of cosmoline or waxoyl depending on the owners request. It also has a lot to do with what the purpose of the car will be and where it’s located. Here in SoCal, we don’t have much concern about rust, especially when these cars are rarely driven in adverse conditions and live in climate controlled garages. Also, we will sometimes wait to apply protective coating until after a sale is done, both so the prospective owners get an idea of the true condition, confirm there’s no leaks, etc, and so the new owner can decide what he’d like to do with the vehicle. Hope that answers your question!
@y2ksierra15 күн бұрын
@@IAMDetailingthank you for the thorough answer! I do not live in a state with rust concerns, but always wondered about this. I’m also weird and like how my car smells when it’s cooling off in the garage, my understand is that it’s the cosmoline that produces the smell. I’m also the person that enjoys the crayon smell in my E46 so take it for what it’s worth 😂
