@@ranganathkini5501I’d disagree 😊 If a composer hits rinse-repeat mode that so many do routinely, it defeats the primal core of creativity. AR was never someone who wanted to ‘emulate’ anyone. He is the definition of an iconoclast, an icon at that. Nobody sustains 32 years making groundbreaking music so consistently by making ‘familiar’ or ‘their brand’ of music…and all his music adheres to the story and screen play and not the formulaic tripe that people churned out for set emotional moments in every movie. He broke that rut and still does. PS 1/2, Maamannan Raayan Chamkila … not sure what people allude to when they say ‘not as good as before’ just because it doesn’t stick to their wants and times..

"Chithirathu mele selai katta aasai" means Wish to dress a painting in saree(tamil girls' traditional wear) 'chithiram' means painting

It is actually "Chitiraiku mele" meaning Chithirai is the first month in the tamil calendar which is the month of April in the Gregorian calendar. She is wearing a blouse and skirt sometimes with a shawl called "dhavani" usually worn by young unmarried girls in Tamil Nadu. Her mentioning to wear a "selai" which is saree worn by older women mostly married denotes the notion in the teenager who wishes to become an adult soon. April denotes the onset of summer in Tamil Nadu and the new year begins. It literally translates to "I wish to wear a saree after April". To become an adult in the coming year.
