The actual meaning / translation for "Pudhu Vellai Mazhai" is New white rain rather than silver, because the word silver in Tamil is velli. So more appropriate to say white rain. My Canadian friend (I'm from Toronto btw), Tamil songs have what we call "double meaning" into their words and can be very sexualized. Although I speak Tamil, I can never decode the words unless I slowly listen to it. However, because I don't know some of the Tamil words words, I might miss the "subtle" sexual inuendos.
