As a DM and player who's never been the biggest fan of Druids, this video helped open my eyes! They can fall into a certain tree-hugger stereotype, but by diversifying the narrative you can avoid pigeonholing. Your patron/old god/primal magic concept is very interesting. BTW! Your speaking is extremely natural and persuasive, I know a +5 charisma mod when I see one. I'll keep an eye out for this series of videos

Yeah, exactly! I'm really glad you found the video useful. Hope you get to put some of this into practice! And thank you! I'm a little self-conscious about how I am on camera, I don't really turn "on" - That's just how I actually am when I get going haha. Glad to have you along for the ride. Feel free to let me know if there's anything you'd like me to make videos about!

Pro tip: watch movies at flixzone. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.

I appreciate the video~ just starting dnd for the most part and wanted to make a circle of the Shepard druid, but was having quite a bit of difficulty after and during the first session fleshing him out. It just felt like something was missing. So thank you for giving me quite a few ideas ^^ I can't wait to try them out.

Hey Jeremy, I know this comment is quite late but I only just found your channel, loved the video btw! I have a game with an old tiefling druid who got into the druid-world by being saved by a shepherd-circle in a forest when he was younger. Now I need to make a hook for him but I find it quite hard... First of all he is soon going to be in Waterdeep so I guess he could get contacted there, but I need to make the hook super nice and not just "please come back and help blabla thank you"... I was thinking of coming up with something like the leader in the circle has gone mad and has started to harm the community in some way to a point where most of the druids have run away to escape him. Meanwhile he has started summoning some sorts of entities who are against nature (it's here I have a problem, I'm not sure what monsters/entities it could be), could you please share some thoughts? ❤️

Hey Mathias! Glad you enjoyed the video. For the entities you’re talking about there’s a few possibilities that are fun? Maybe they’re a Wildfire druid that’s going overboard and the entities are from the Elemental Plane of Fire? Or they could be “Blight” entities. Natural, but corrupted. Poisonous, venomous, anti-nature. And if all else fails there’s always demons. Hope that helps!

Thank you for this video, I recently rolled my first druid and she's a human woman (Not variant; Most of my characters were Aasimar or Elves) and I've been having so much fun with her. I appreciate this video so much.
