I must say, I really like the thumbnail for this video. I'm having a hard time understanding Klug. That said, I can see the direction they went in for his voice. It reminds me of Scrappy, but more annoying and devoid of good intention. In a way, I'd say this is better than the Japanese voice, as it serves as an indicator of how insufferable he can really be. (Of course, this is in no way an actual criticism of Sonozaki's Klug voice, but an observation about the differences in character interpretation and how they affect voice development.)

I’m Japanese, but it’s very interesting to watch this. I can recognize how English speakers (or, developers?) grasp the characters. Like, I LOVE Maguro and his Japanese voice (There are sexiness in drollness which makes him look chic. YES YOU KNOW WHAT MAGURO IS ACTUALLY CHIC), but his English voice also fits him because he perfectly looks like geek (and actually, HE IS. HE IS CHIC AND GEEK. INCREDIBLE.) なんか…文化の違いが見られていいなって話です。そのキャラクターの見た目や性質（まぐろ君で言えばガチヲタ感）が、その文化圏ではどう捉えられるのか（いわゆる「ギーク」らしさ、若干なよっとしている感じ）を伺うことが出来ていいなぁと思いましたまる （クルーク君の方がわかりやすかったかも。ちょっと嫌味なガリ勉君、のイメージ）

Everyone wishes for it, but doing so would require a significant *internal* change that would essentially make it too different for online play between copies associated with Japanese and copies associated with English. Besides, a plan like that needs to be handled during the development phase, not when the product's already been on the market for 3 years.

They ruined Rulue's voice for me and Ringo. Rulue sounds sultry. She doesn't in English for me. I could clearly hear what Ringo said in the Japanese version. Sin, cosine, etc. Can barely hear her moves at all in English and they totally changed the last one. God I hate to hear what Schezo sounds. Most of his moves are English or just made up.

Basically, you would rather have a bunch of imitations instead of slightly different interpretations. They changed two of Ringo's. Integral was swapped out with Algorithm while Permutation was changed to Calculus. Both still fit the theme, so it really doesn't matter. If you can't really hear her, it likely has to do with the sound mixing.

Anyway, I thought the English voices are pretty good. But I have a two problems. 1. Carbuncle's English voice is not sticking with me. Sounds like a teenager making baby sounds. O's English and Japanese voice sounds way too similar. Kinda makes you wonder why change it at all. 2. Sig's voice needs to be a bit more high pitch. Other than that, it's alright. Alright, who wants to bet Roger Craig Smith is voicing Schezo? I'm betting my life savings.

Yeah i like the Japanese spells a lot more honestly. Almost all of them were too different, not to mention that some characters in the Japanese version of PPT or the English version of Fever doesn't use Japanese or even English words (Raffina and Klug, for example, uses French and Latin words, respectively), and the EN version lacks it, which makes some of these spells a little more bland to me... :/ Otherwise, the English voices are a lot better than on Fever.

As a French guy, Raffina's "Furenchu" is very cringy (not in an endearing or quirky way, like JoJo's engrish moments). I'm actually glad they went full English, but if they got an actual French girl (Overwatch style) it would have been even better.

Doing that would also create needless disparity between the Switch version and everything from 2014. It's not an efficient use of time to placate purists.

here's the major difference. Jp voices actually build up their volume,dynamism/exaggeration and voice acting when casting spells up to their 5th spell not to mention they sound more playful, but the english voices didn't even build up their voice acting and they still sounded bland even up till the 5th spell not to mention they mostly sound more serious than playful.
